    Default I nearly got WipEout 3! D@mmit!

I nearly got Wip3out for PS1 today as I found one in the GAME store without a PSX box and instructions booklet for £2.97!

I was going to have some time thinking about buying this but ran out of time and had to go! I think the one with instructions should do better so it's best if I keep checking...

I would like to buy wipEout 2097 or wip3out to enjoy the PlayStation experience on my PS2, well, some say wipeout 2097 doesn't work on that console but wip3out will, so I'm sure it would work, right?

no need, got a PS2 to play Playstation titles unless it's for wipEout 2097 (if it was for the unexplained problem), in fact, it's no point if you intend to buy just a copy of wipEout...

Since my PS1 broke down last weekend, I started playing W3O on my PS2. It works, but I have noticed some wierd bugs while racing "Manor Top". Sometimes the graphics go wild and I can't see where I'm flying anymore. All the other tracks work just fine, though.

I haven't been able to try WO 2097 on my PS2. I'm missing my game disk.

No, it's the classic W3O PAL-version I'm playing. The bugs occur only on Manor Top and only in the higher race classes Rapier and Phantom.

I just bought it on E-Bay. And it's still new.

well good for you but now at the moment, I was less interested in that game now...

At least I have WipEout on Sega Saturn and hoping to have WipEout Pure for Christmas, who knows...if there's a collection of classic WipEout games (1, 2(097/XL) and 3) heading to PS2/3/P in the future then that will be terrific!

True, I was back to playing *cough*Halo 2*cough* just recently as I nearly had that for a year...there are still oppertunities to buy PS1 games, even there are brand new and like you can still get Final Fantasy VII from some stores.

Hmm, maybe I might change my mind about this in the future but too common. I still prefer WipEout 2097 than that anyway...
