Thread: Fast Start

    Default Fast Start

I've just picked up an absolutely mint copy of SE off of eBay after lurking here and reading your recommendations.

    I have one question,

How do you perform a fast start?

I have it sussed for Fusion and 2097, but these techniques won't work for SE.

    Elliott.

p.s. I'll formally introduce myself soon.

Turbo starts are performed by keeping the thrust power up around the end of the shield power bar. If you have vibration switched on, the pad will rumble when you're in the right area. If you've got the right power level when Curly says Go! then you'll rocket off the grid.

Due to the elasticity of the AI it's debatable whether you need one, but if you're going for a fast race time then I suppose it's essential.

It's always for me a little above 3/4 of the bar.
