Default help needed getting 2097 to work

    Hi,

I'm new to this whole emulation scene. I'm trying to get W'2097 working on a laptop with epsxe emulator but have failed so far. I really love this game, used to play it alot when I was younger. The game is an .mds file (PAL version) which I have mounted with daemon tools.

    Heres my setup:

    ePSXe v1.6.0
    Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.75
    Null2's Audio Driver 1.3
    ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.
    scph100.bin bios

    laptop:

    Toshiba P20
    - 3ghz P4, 512ram, GeforceFX 5200, XP SP2

I open ePSXe select run cd-rom then nothing. ePSXe is blank then an XP window opens saying ePSXe has caused an error and needs to shut. Thats as far as I get. Any help appreciated.

HI there, I spent a little while last night getting 2097 working in epsxe.
    I use:
    petes opengl2 driver 2.6
    p.e.op.s dsound audio driver 1.9
    p.e.op.s cdr driver 1.4
    scph1001.bin bios

I'm mounting a clonecd image in daemon tools (I get no cd audio with the real cd)

the only thing I had trouble with was the cd plugin.
the screen just sat there black unless it was set to no caching - read one sector at a time

mine works, but I had to use isos instead of CDs, and had to right click daemon tools, go to options, and enable analogue audio.
can't do that with my physical drives as I have no analogue cables

What are these SWP files & how do you get them?
