Default RGB cable instead of composite worth the extra money/effort?

Bought N64/W64 with the famous yellow plug. Normally it gives a bad signal, bleeding and washed out colors, at least on my ps1/ps2
But i foind it really great.

Did someone upgraded his composite to RGB/scart cable? Was it worth it becuase its gone be very difficult to find one. But if you say its goen be twice as sharp on my 70cm tv then i gone try to find one.

It is definately better. I but i had the pal version, so I don't know if the NTSC version is different from PAL quality.

For starters, the N64 doesn't output RGB, only composite and s-video. Secondly, I've got an S-video cable (with a SCART-adapter) and that generates a good picture - better than crummy old composite anyway. But twice as sharp? I wouldn't count on it.

Unfortunately my TV isn't up to par and suffers from quite a lot of colour bleed when displaying "pure" colours (i.e. big fields of yellow, green and so on). I guess the signal is too strong for the poor old telly .
