Default Antigaviator - New AG racer coming Q2 2018

Antigraviator is a new AG racer coming on Steam / Xbox and PS4 in Q2 2018.

During Campaign you will unlock parts, ships and skins.
Set on 4 different worlds with 3 tracks on each.

No idea as yet on how many will be able to be play online multiplayer at once.

Gameplay video below.....looks a LOT like F-Zero X to me

Yeh, unfortunately this is more F-Zero (or Fast RMX) than wipEout. I never understood the appeal of these games - speed means absolutely nothing if you are going in a straight line for 99% of the race and the track is half a mile wide...

    Same. How uninspired.

They all try to be different to WipEout, but what they don’t get is that WO hit the sweet spot of floatiness. And I know some here will argue it was better in WO1/2/3, but for a modern, wide audience game, WipEout HD has the recipe for success.

All these other modern AG games are stuck on rails, it’s disconcerning.

Even just the name is so bland. "Dude, check out this new game, Antigrav... itator? Graviator? Antigravitator. Antigraviator."

pretty flat on rails and straight. Quantum redshift, fzero, and even jet moto allowed pitch control in the air, and their courses were hard. These mostly traight most of the time racers are not very fun for me. redout, formula fusion, fast rmx they just dont have a feel of wipeout in them

It doesn't really float my boat either.
I think it had any worth it would be more suited as a game for a smartphone that you played while commuting, since there seems to be very little as way of landscape that you would be racing through, I imagine the games file size would be small.
