Playstation 3 to cease production - probably has already.
I just read this at the AVS forum.
Apparently the Official Japanese Playstation forum has said that the PS3 will cease production in March - well April starts tomorrow, so I guess it finished now.

R.I.P PS3, I had a fun time with you, better than all previous consoles.

Totally my favourite console of all time. I think it was amazing, and still is. PS1 emulation could have been better but overall a very good quality feeling for a lot of reasons. I guess DS3 was a big reason for that. I hope I can get used to the PS4 in the same way. I have barely used it but so far it just feels... messy.

Yeah, I can't get to grips with the PS4's menu system, that's if it ever remains static long enough to learn it.
Sony keeps adding stuff to the system software with no explanation on how to use it, or it seems so convoluted that I can't be bothered finding out how to use it.

Another reason not to buy a PS4 then
