Nice work, skrotos - I had no idea I'd be giving way to a monster

I was personally thinking Rezatron or Yeldar would win this tournament, and you knocked them both down; very impressive!

Maybe if I maintained interest I could've made for a close match with my Venom choices, but alas, we'll never know...

aArgh, Woop, sweep?!... Sad to hear you got some trouble with your internet connection, I know how much it can affect your driving. Definitely not the best conditions to play a quarter final against one of the fastest pilots on earth. I mean don't get me wrong Texas or Skrotos, you guys are deserving your victories, but judging by the results I believe our UK friends had some trouble wth their network. Not enough to completely ruin their chances, but enough I think to disturb them a bit. GAH. Just hope you guys had a great overall experience anyway, & as Medusa said, winning the cloud was already an incredible achievement. Now, all eyes on the last 2 quarter finals!

Yeldar with a 2:01 on Cheng reverse weapons OFF would tell me a very bad connection indeed. He can do that time in his sleep I think. . How much longer till the semis?

I've been in contact with Bazzman and we've exchanged our choices. I asked him if he could do the match this Sunday, but he didn't answer my question despite being online since.

    Default Results!!!!!!!

I am back with results from the quarter finals

    SpeedKAng96(SWE) vs. Tiduch(POL)

This time, my choices will be the first three:

Vineta K FWD, weps off, BR's ON: Tiduch wins
Tiduch won this (pretty) calm race.

Ubermall FWD, weps off, BR's ON: Tiduch wins
The first 4 laps was tight, then I fell of the jump at the beginning.

Tech de Ra FWD, weps on, BR's ON: My win
Now this one was psychedelic, we struggled all the way for the 1st place

Then Tiduch hosts the remaining three races:

Modesto Heights RW, weps off, BR's ON: Tiduch wins
We pushed each other all the way to the finish line

Moa Therma RW, Zone battle, target 55: Tiduch wins
This was tight, but then there's the barriers

Modesto Heights FWD, Zone battle, target 55: Tiduch wins
Modesto heights + Zone battle = Seriously though, I had quite the flight in one lap, LOL!

I've had a really great time during the cup, I've met great pilots and made good friends
along the way. Great job kanar for arranging this colossal event, you're the man

Good job, Tiduch. Was a pleasure racing you, buddy. Now give them hell in the finals! I'm rooting for ya'

    VIDS WILL BE UP TOMORROW

It's great to see the cup has a bit of forward momentum again. There's a few pilots that I didn't expect to see this far in to the tournament. So our seed picking skills were either suspect or they have improved in the short while (10 months ) since they were picked! Well done to everyone that entered, played, went out or are still in.

I'm sorry to have to report this, but my match with Bazzman will not be going ahead today. I will try and get it done when Bazz is online and actually replies to my messages.

I know I've usually just remained quiet about any issue and focused on just my own matches, but... I really think deadlines should no longer be extended at this late stage in the tournament.

If there is a good reason such as your PS3 died or something (which mine just did one day after playing my match!), then logging into the zone via your PC/Mobile Phone/Local Library/Work shouldn't be that difficult in these times.

I think this tournament is more about just racing and winning... it's also to show a certain level of effort to get things done on time and remain in good contact with the community. I would especially hope the champion turned out to be someone who has shown good effort in both of these.

Normally I'd completely agree with you Woop, but Bazzman is being very cagey despite me getting in touch with him last week. I've done all of my matches on time (very early as well) and feel that it would be fair to take this into consideration.

Very peculiar at such a late stage in the tournament...:/

I know you've shown brilliant dedication, and it would definitely be you receiving a fastpath... but having received a fastpath myself earlier in the tournament I suppose I can understand how you feel in wanting to actually race someone instead of being given a free win.

It just sort of is unfortunate that Kanar may have to possibly go back on his word and extend the deadline yet again.

I only asked him for his choices and told him mine.

I asked him if he could do it this Sunday and then he didn't reply, so I don't know what's happening right now. :/
