Awh, I was sort of hoping that I could at least say I went out to the winner of the cloud, but I'm just pleased to see we have one of two very worthy pilots at the end, and the Hawks are done. Well done everyone, and especially to JJPAP, who kept us going despite his own issues IRL. A toast to you this evening, my good man.

As I was down 3-0 and my heart was ready to explode of nervousity. Some sequences was accidentaly cut out in the start of some races, I forgot to hit the "Record" button

I hope you guys have a good match in the end. It's crazy the sort of stuff some of the participants have had happen to them...just goes to show, a true worldwide event like this is subject to all other worldwide events!
Just going by dodgy memory, there's been car crashes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and of course the earthquake/tsunami, and then broken bones, etc...

I think some of the super-pilots are just trying to prove they're human after all.

Thanks for posting all the videos! Now to watch them...

    Exclamation What, if...?

    looser bracket, anyone?
all runner-up players from each division final could compete for
    'RUNNER-UP AWARD'
just an idea, but i would definitively take part

I think we will let you organise that JF

Anyway, bad luck there mate and well done to Yeldar

    Board update http://challonge.com/falcon

Big G, aka Radical Radley, aka Yeldar2097 (the housewives choice) is the Champion of the Falcon group, I'm sure all members of the Falcon fraternity hope he goes on to win the whole thing (unless he's playing DP of course who I hope wins )

Hello. Just a quick word about the videos...they're hardly 'clean', the language is quite colourful, but it's all in good fun (and sorry for being a bit stoned, I was talking **** most of the time, as were my mates). I had a great time racing JF, it was lovely to race him. I'm going to get him back for that cheeky ZB victory though .

Anyway...here's the breakdown (Click on the race for video linky ):

    yeldar2097 Vs. JFThebestJan

    JFThebestJan's Races
Anulpha Pass - Venom - Weapons Off --> JFThebestJan - Hahaha the end of this was hilarious. I was so proud of my little move on the third lap, then my screen deceived me. Sorry for the music...my friends are somewhat cretinous
Anulpha Pass Reverse - Venom - Weapons Off --> yeldar2097 - I knocked JF off the track (not on my screen but I suspected my connection was up to no good :/), we replayed this one later on
Syncopia - Zone Battle (55) --> JFThebestJan - I'm really annoyed I didn't switch from Harimau+ for this, was awfully confusing. JF 'ZBeast' out-battled me here fair and square though. I'm pretty sure he won with some risky barrel rolls at the end (that's what I was planning but I missed them lol), so big respect for that

    yeldar2097's races
Chenghou Project Reverse - Phantom - Weapons Off --> yeldar2097 - Got in the lead after the first BR. Messy after that, but I managed to stay on the track (despite a few near misses)
Sebenco Climb Reverse - Phantom - Weapons Off --> yeldar2097 - Bouncy bouncy
Chenghou Project - Phantom - Weapons On --> yeldar2097 - Not sure what was going on here, I went into a really weird haze and...I dunno it was weird

    Final Result: yeldar2097 4 - 2 JFThebestJan

Shortly after this we decided to replay JF's second race on Anulpha Pass Reverse since I had won unfairly when we'd done it originally (lag-ram off the track, sorry :/ ).
Here's the video for that one. Nice, close, weps off racing
    Link

Thanks a lot for racing JFThebestJan, it was my pleasure. See you in ZB
