I think buying a new PS3 so as not to default on your race is a superb show of dedication, good effort Saturn

You can buy girlfriends?
Me Peh-Hok just had our battle of the feisars. Great races with some tense moments.
Peh's choices where
Sebenco forward , my win.
Sebenco reverse, Peh wins. Very close , well won mate.
Metropia reverse, my win. Was very lucky twice here. Almost went head first into two bombs , one of which was my own.
My choices
Sol2, my win
TDR reverse, very close again. I fell off 1st lap i think, i pasted Peh somewhere. Not entirely sure how, and Peh still wins. Again, well won mate.
Chenghou reverse, my win.
Vids coming soon guys, but sadly on chenghou i'd forgotten to press record and recorded the text chat afterwards where i thought i'd stopped recording lol. Stupid fool
Thanks for the races Peh, they where lots of fun

So 4-2 right?
I don't envy anyone in your path Barnster.
I've got to be more thoughtful when I'm posting...
GOOO LUNA!!! I want somebody in an AG-SYS to win this. Preferably you.
*loyalty declared*
Thanks again for the races Barnster, very stressful, in a good way! Well deserved victory, I gave it everything but ultimately just not quick enough and too many mistakes. Hope you go all the way, and look forward to seeing your perspective / videos. End of the road for me
Congrats Barny, and unlucky Peh-Hok. Looking forward to watching some videos
The thing about LUNA is, she doesn't specialize in any one speed class.
Plays every known speed class specialist online consistently, that's only from me watching who's online at any particular time.

You can't beat a bit of Jimi
Well done barnster, bad luck peh
Dutch PS3s dropping like flies, the best of British facing off in the early rounds...who's behind all this I wonder
Joking aside, well done Barny, good luck against Woop
Ok due to the delayed round 2 meetings, new deadline for round 3 is feb. 28

Not a hope in hell of me having my race done by the 28th Won't get a ps3 into my house till at least 5 days time. (then some practice is needed! )
lol, no pb OBH, feb 28 is the deadline but of course due to the previous round issues, you guys will have a few more days to complete your round 3. I'll try to update the whole stuff here, I've finally a week off, so I'll do my best to involve more of my time into this great wipeout story.

Eagle update...
sorry for late report..i been very busy
Ace vs bazz
Bazz wins 4-2
Have not got all details
I understand this was a very tight hard race between two great players
Ace won his two weapon tracks as he is extremly good with those type of races
Bazzman won his phantom races and performed extremly well on modesto with a super fast time.
Ill get the exact track choices when im on ps3
congrats on bazz for a good victory i think your gonna play greg next if i not mistaken.
many thanks to ace for being a worthy competitor
It's a bit quiet in here... too quiet... there's gonna be a lot of round 3 overtimes. 3 weeks to organize no more than 30 mins of playing is not enough for most people then. :/
Well it's according to the will of each wiper ^_^
In the Hawk Section:
Klocki_Lego 4-1 Spinninggenius
My first match I actually played in the tournament and I went crashing out
Klocki's choices - all rapier, 4 laps, weapons on
Ubermall Forward - SG wins - I built up an early lead, but at the end of lap 2 got a missile weapon, I waited for klocki to take the lead then fired on him round a corner and won by 0.8 seconds
Chenghou Forward - Klocki wins - My win in race 1 proved to be a false dawn, hit the barrier round the outside of the second turn, and klocki pulled away from there. I couldn't tell from my screen, the winning margin was either 5 or 7 seconds
Chenghou Reverse - Klocki wins - see chenghou forwards!
SG's choices
Rapier, 4 laps, weapons on, Anulpha Pass Forwards - Klocki wins - Klocki got off to an early lead, but a succession of a quake and a speed boost meant we practically crossed the line together at the end of lap 2. Sadly I hit the back of his ship, lost momentum and lost 3 seconds in the first sector of lap 3, and finished about 4 seconds down in the end
Zone battle, to 20, tech de ra reverse - Klocki wins - that must have been the perfect zone battle drive, reaching 20 when i was just short of 12 - though I did have about 5 in the tank
Klocki took photos of all the races except race one, in which my time was 1.47.30, and Klocki's was 1.48.07.
Good luck to you in the rest of the tournament, whoever you face will be in for a tough match!
Thx Spinninggenius for your time and complete summary.
PS.
Good Luck on playstationleague.co.uk
I feel bad about being the only ROUND 2 match left to play. I was away in Florida for a while on family vacation with my wife and 7 month old daughter and so I was without a PS3, then I was supposed to play Mago this past Saturday…he was ready but unfortunately we still haven’t been able to move back into our frikkin’ house yet because our slow-as-fark contractor still hasn’t finished renovating our farking bathroom, despite the work starting on FEB 5th!!! As such I’ve been at me mum’s place since returning from Florida…and totally forgot that Saturday morning I was supposed to drive to my house and get the PS3 up and running for a 10AM GMT-5 match with Mago (4PM GMT+1). All my stuff is covered up and unplugged while the work is being done, because I don’t want all that drywall crap getting into my speakers, AV receiver, turntable, PS3, etc., etc.
Because of the difference in time it’s not particularly easy to play in the evening for me, because 7pm would be early in the morning for Mago. Perhaps next year if there’s another cup we could make time zones more of a consideration?
Anyway, due to these circumstances I think it’s only fair that I reluctantly forfeit to Mago so that ROUND 3 matches can continue. I'm not even sure if we'll be back in by this week-end. Mago has been very patient and totally hospitable, which I appreciate.
