    ROUND 2 RESULT

    Hellfire_WZ vs QjonPL

Metropia Reverse - Phantom SR- Weapons On - QjonPL
Vineta K Reverse - Phantom SR - Weapons On - QjonPL
Sebenco Climb - Phantom SR - Weapons Off - QjonPL

Chenghou Project - Phantom SR 6 Laps - Weapons Off -
    QjonPL
The Amphiseum - Phantom SR 6 Laps - Weapons Off - QjonPL
Anulpha Pass Reverse - Phantom SR - Weapons On - Hellfire_WZ

Anulpha Pass - Rapier SR - Weapons On -
    QjonPL

    RESULT
    Hellfire_WZ 1-6 QjonPL

Well done mate, I was never in it. Qjon will upload all the videos, all you would see from mine is the massive lag I was getting anyway. But that's no excuse really, the number of mistakes I was making was criminal, and quite frankly he showed me up for the washed up old veteran that I am. So following this, I am announcing my retirement from online play.

Thanks for playing Qjon, and best of luck for the rest of the tournament

It's not a shame losing to Qjon, he's one of the outsiders for the cup imo, great pilot

it is sad to lose a big player like hellfire but qjon is very fast and hellfire did not lose to a average player..i have qjon down as one of the favourites in my group..he wins DP89's speed lap challenge many times..and his records are fantastic and current.
and is in top form at present..and really up for it

    well done qjon
thankyou hellfire for getting game played and thankyou for playing in cup
do not feel bad as 255 out of 256 are gonna lose in this cup..its taking part that counts..

Do people realise they're supposed to have at least one choice different to the rest? A lot of folks seem to be picking three identical races. Cool if the opponent agrees, but otherwise all three choices shouldn't be the same mode.

I'm sure they realize, but it just seems people are finding it easier if each pilot hosts a 3 race tournament.

@saturn...most player are in agreement..i didnt care that leungy picked 3 weaps off tracks im sure he wouldnt have cared if i had 3 weapon on tracks either..as long as no complaints are made it just shows how good spirited all player have been

    Eagle update....

    Elhabib vs CHEE5E2EE (replacement opponent)

    cheese picked

    uber rapier weps/br on 5 lap...elhabib
tdr flash fw wep/br on 5 lap..cheese wins
modesto venom fw weps/br on 5 lap...cheese wins

    elhabib picked

sebenco phantom fw 20 laps weps off br on..cheese wins
metropia rev phantom 20 laps weps off br on..elhabib wins
vinetta k rev phantom 20 laps weps off br on ...cheese wins fianl race ap fw rapier weps br on...cheese wins

4-3 cheese wins 4-2 to cheese official result

strange as elhabib stated it was 4-2 to cheese not that it changes anything but i think cheese may have made an error in his race results..dont worry cheese has told me the error and its been corrected..thx cheese.

@jasmin & Jav: you are putting too much pressure on me

Thanks to Hellfire for racing; you won't retire, this game's too much addictive

As for myself, I'm not satisfied with my performance. I was training some parts (Vineta K Rev's double BR at the beginning, Chengou Rev's non-br shortcut etc) to be quite constant in going through them, in TTs offline I could be sure about myself, but online handling is really different and somewhat annoying, especially for someone, who hasn't been playing online (except Cup races and maybe 10 more races) for almost 2 months.
Blah, blah, enough of these excuses, hope you enjoy the video

It's interesting seeing the videos for The Amphiseum and Anulpha Pass, mainly because I had no idea how close I was to you! From my end you were jumping all over the track, sometimes six seconds ahead of me, sometimes six seconds behind. And I suffered the usual lag on Anulpha Pass seeing you shoot off into the distance from the line. It's a shame really as it's kinda ruined my videos.

As I said though, all that is just papering over the cracks really. I hadn't played at all since the Avalon Cup and as you say, the handling from offline to online really threw me in places. Just wish I could have given you a better race really

Yeah it's dead annoyin when the game just makes a bad day at the office even worse. Notice Feisar consistently rinsing G45 off the line...bit weird, bit wrong an all.
    Sort it out SL...oh wait

Kudos to everyone for keeping the dream alive. Any word on Amorbis Vs. Mad-Ice? I'm rather eager to know my next opponent so I can start panicking like I do before every match. Either way it's gonna be a toughie

So I found out I'll be facing Andybob in Round 3. One of the English Lions is going to fall.

Nothing yet, not sure about any of the games in the Falcon group at the moment. The only one I'm sure about is me V Narren which is taking place on Tuesday. Everyone should be motivated enough to get them arranged without me chasing them I would of thought/hope.

Leungbok, Hellfire and Wellington out!! Who's next ? I've hardly touched the game in four weeks, I need to practice.

Anyone noticed the huge amount of matches that are played "weapons off" ?
This is the real proof weapons are too important in HD IMHO...

    your completley right temet..

weapons and the random element are just way too large that almost anyone can beat anyone if their lucky on the pads.

some tracks are layed out so if you get off the line first your opponent cannot touch you as you can eat all the pads.

vinetta reverse is perfect as the leader can eat every pad keep a good line and leave nothing for the player behind apart from a bomb or two on a narrow track..

    ok...

heres my worldcup video with Leungbok..

ive never made films before its my first go and please take into account i was very tense and nervous and not in control of all my actions..mainly my mouth...

best race was last one as it was super exciting and nerve wracking

WARNING VIDEO CONTAINS SOME STRONG LANGUAGE

I can't tell you how many times I have done the same exact thing, and also yelled "nooo!! nooooo!!" Awesome comeback on that one.

I might actually remake mine to include the original sound because it's hilarious when I hear it now it's alot of fun hearing what people sound like when they play
