What happens if matches are still to be played after the deadline?

Jav, we'll give an extra week or we declare MIA one of the pilot who never tried to arrange his meeting for eg. We'll investigate each case.

Jav: In some circumstances some matches will have to be played after the dead-line for various reasons.
Be sure: The Raptor´s a fully aware if some people have some minor (and/or major*) difficulties arranging their matches (and of course they´ll get some "extra" time expecting the match is bound to happen) - and The Raptors are also very aware of wipers who has done their effort arranging their matches without getting any respond from their opponents!
So the scenario will be, I think, that some will have their 2nd Round (or even 3rd Round! ... Yeldar is so fast he´s already in the 3rd Round ... LOL) all set or even done ATM while other´s will have to wait a little to see who they´re up against

*Personally I cross my fingers that a result of the match Z1 vs V70 will soon tick in ... LOL ... Had to re-learn spanish ...

Man I'm so sad to be out of this tournament after just the first round though to be fair no wonder I'm out.

In any case congrats to all the winners of both the first and second round! And heres a little anouncement for you all: The wohdcup website has passed a Thousand hits (after just under 20 days) and is now visable on google when you search for "wipeout hd cup". It appears we are not totally invisible even though all the newspapers and gaming news-sites I've alerted have responded with silence.

To be honest I had hoped for a bigger international interest in this event but at least this shows that Wipeout isn't completely dead, just severly geriatric...

Oh my, I see the real reason you have 2097 at the end of your name. It's for Sebenco Climb and how many turbos you get. You had to get at least 5 boosts that track. I think I managed one, and I used it to go fly right into a building. I deserve a medal.

Metropia I had awful timing. I quaked you just as you reached speed pads. Then I missiled you right as you got a turbo. I was wondering why you kept speeding away like it was nothing.

Then on Modesto, other than that one obvious mistake, that was one of the best performances I've seen. Very nice run!

Thanks again for the race mate, we should do a few practice matches sometime soon. ;D

Yeah I'm still making lots of mistakes. I'll admit I probably shouldn't have done as well as I might have done in my matches so far, I've been blessed with LOADS of boosts.

I did however miss the first track as Damigisan started their race as soon as I entered and I hadn't turned my camera on yet, and I was nervous... and I think the last vid of anulpha pass got messed up -_-

DjM1zw1z - I don't think you should presume anything in that respect. You may well have won fairly have caused a lot of doubt around the whole thing. You should talk to kanar about it. I also wrote a post about how you might help the situation in that other thread. It would be a good idea to go find it and offer some feedback.

It was a great set of race(s), no I'm not a quitter & play till the end, Yes you are correct (him is appropriate as I am male), no you didn't cheat, it was a very fair & well done race, good choices on your part.We should do this again sometime, when ever your up to racing.
