First part , i hosted 3 races (phantom weapons , no weapons , ZB) : wotan 1 2 barn (special applauses for this magnificent combo : quake + plasma )

Second part , barn hosted 3 races (weap , no weap , ZB) : barn 1 2 wotan

Round 7 : barn won on sol2 rapier (despite my 2 quakes ^^)

Wotan I hate you! lol jk you know I love you but gah you record motorbike stuffs on burnout and NOT the most anticipated meeting of this round??? Ah I'm kidding, but seriously we're missing the vids here, definitely. Really hope you're both hyper motivated for December, especially you Wotan, you lost 4-3 and you stopped to play wipeout for a long time ago now (stupid burnout once again, hopefully I'm sure you won't go for the next crappy 30fps need for speed total bullshit). Wotan really hope you'll come back bot_style in the nex few weeks. For the record mate, one last time.

what a set of vids there mate; all I can say is , or !!! You guys like it when it's fast eh eh, absorbing machines. Incredible times btw guys; highly skilled pilots there. Thanks again for shooting this meeting, and GAH we'll seriously need a montage with all the vids taken during this avalon cup. What a great stuff so far.

eh eh we're about to live a lethal week-end. I feel hyped & really stressed for tomorrow. I feel the pressure now. But jeez this is soo good. I know I'll spend a fantastic moment anyway, whatever happens that's going to be awesome. OMG OMG Epic stuff, I like that.

Ace3 won our match. We didn't complete it. I was nervous as usual. My hands were cold as usual, and so I wasn't doing well. Usually I would settle into things but this time it didn't happen. We started with the green races and I think it just completely threw me because I'm not used to them. I was about to fire a missile and realised I couldn't. Every race I was just fighting my instinct to fire and it made it impossible for me to concentrate. I completely messed up the first race. My hands felt totally frozen at that point. I couldn't concentrate at all after that. I won the first weapons race but the next went very badly and I'm afraid I quit the race. As soon as I stopped I saw how much my hands were shaking and realised how ridiculous it was to even try and race like that.

I'm really annoyed with myself, because I practised quite hard in the run up and then just got completely caught off guard.

Sorry to Ace3 that I sucked so badly and quit, and generally sorry that I've let everyone down.

I'm not sure there's any point in me playing in the HD Cup now. If I can't get around these nerves then I'm not going to do any justice to myself or anyone involved. Bad times!

Dont beat yourself up too much over it mate. Happens to everyone Especially when competing in an event thats foreign to you. Hard luck that this time around you didnt come out on top

It wasn't just bad guys, it was horrendous. Anyway, we played again for fun just now and Ace3 won again 6-1. I still wasn't at my best and I just kept missing BRs the whole time, but we had a couple of close races - so overall much better. If it had been more like that the first time it wouldn't bother me so much.

Anyway, congrats again Ace3. You really deserve it.

It's not so much about losing though. The main reason I enter these things is to be apart of a community even and keep the game going. That's why it annoys me most because everyone was looking forward to the match and expected an interesting and close game. I even was recording without music so that Ace3 could make a cool picture in picture video with all the action. But I've spoiled that and I've just disappointed everyone now. Especially Ace3, because of the way I quit like a complete tool during Sebenco Rev. That's why I'm unsure about the HD Cup. I don't want to disappoint everyone again.

Anyway, doing the friendly game after was good because I realised that Ace3 was just better today, even once I got over most of the nerves. It's a shame we didn't get that one on video because it would have been more fun to watch. I'll probably upload videos still though, just for the guys here. Need to edit them first though.

Let's leave it there for now as I don't want to bring the mood down more. I think Ace3 can definitely win this now, so good luck for the next rounds Ace3. Although I still hope Luxo takes it.

P.S. Ace3 - don't feel bad. I'm sorry I ruined it for you, but you didn't do anything wrong. You handled the nerves and were just better and faster, and completely deserve it.
