I'll be posting here profile pictures of the fictional FX-200 era ships.

More coming!
P.S: Can the mods close their eyes a bit and let this slip through? :g
-
I'm reminded of the R-100 Delphinus Series from Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere.
Nice.
-
-
Well, I didn't want to create a new thread just for two photos.... Sorry...
-
Awesome work, as always ;) Can't wait to see more
-
Sweet :D
Good Work On the ships they are well crafted :D
I reckon they are good enough to be in the next game
-
Moved the posts to the "right" places.
And I'm letting this slip.
-
I have an Harimau ship.
I'm posting it later tomorrow, if I have the time.
-
Very nice! I like it. It's well rounded and the Proton X looks like a real Wipeout ship from the series. :clap

Those do look pretty neat! :D I'm almost tempted to do a short piece about FX200 now. Think you could do Assegai, Auricom, Triakis and Qirex at all?
-
Thanks!
Yep, just give me a couple of weeks...
Here's the Harimau ship:

Very pretty. ;) Though as far as I remember, Harimau only joined in the FX250 along with Van-Uber.
-
Oh... Well, we can always call it a prototype... :g
-
Hey, that's fair play. :P Gives you an excuse to make a Van-Uber if you want to as well~
-
-
I love that icaras reminds me of the original in a way great job xpand
-
Thanks!
I inspired myself on the WO3 and WOHD Icaras to make its shape. The color scheme was based on Pure's.
-
Lovin' it. :) Can I be so bold as to ask for a Van-Uber or Auricom? :g
-
Don't worry, I'll do all the ones that appear before and during the FX-300 league. :)
-
Sounds pretty good!
The way I judged the timeline was that when FX150 started, only FEISAR, Assegai, Auricom and AG-Systems signed up to the weaponless races. When FX200 came around, weapons had been introduced and Triakis had set up its' own team. Qirex entered halfway through the season.
In FX250, Harimau entered the sport and Van-Uber made a comeback. In FX300, the eight established teams used their 200 ships for a junior league, the JX200 that ran alongside the FX300 in Makana.
As more and more teams joined the 300 series, they began to use smaller versions of their technology to make 200-capable ships, meaning that while Icaras, Piranha, Goteki 45 and Tigron hadn't actually ever been in FX200, they still ran junior squads.
When FX350 came around, the junior squads got a boosted power to FX250 standards. This allowed Harimau and Van Uber to begin running better teams, and they established themselves as dominant powers. The same routine was used for when FX400 rolled around, simply using 200-250 ships, allowing Mirage and EG-X to get in on the fun as well.
So my view is that while some of your ships didn't exist in the actual FX200 league, they're fair game for actually having been built to those standards. ^^ Keep up the good work Xpand. :)
-
I think since there's not a concrete history about anything specific prior to the fx300, besides the fact that there was the fx150, that anything is possible :g. Bah, what am I saying. I just want to see more ships.
-
Lol, I have the Qirex on my mind right now!
And here it is!
Attachment 2226
It's a bit like Pure's...
Also, if you want, I can post a link with the hi res images.
-
So pretty:dizzy
if its okay with Xpand i would like to feature his crafts in a theme i might be making
-
No problems on my end... Just remember to give credit, please!
-
cool and i will give you credit as you made these wonderful ships
ive made all of the wall papers for it for the current ships youve made and perhaps you can give me a little backstory on proton X and what they are about so i can get the right vibe from the Proton wallpaper
-
Ok, Proton X...
It's a Norwegian team founded in 2170. Their test track is by the sea and that also inspired the blue and white paintscheme, so you might like to include some sort of gradient colors in your wallpaper (blue light swirling lines in a white background, i.e.).
The ship's performance is similar to FEISAR's, not too fast, but with great handling, good shield and medium acceleration.
-
cool proton X has now got its wallpaper ready
-
Do love the Qirex. ^^ But there's no u in it goddamit.
-
Lol... The cockpit is me.... :P
The intakes behind the cockpit are also me...

I think you'll find a lot of similarities! :nod
-
hehe xpand I think he meant that it's spelled Qirex not Quirex so no u in the name XD no one here doubts it's you who created it ;)
-
Lol, yeah! My bad... Portuguese grammar got in the way..
Fix'd...
-
Sorry for the double post...
Assegai:

-
Lovely design as always Xpand. Needs a bit more bronze I think for it to be truly Assegai. :)
-
Thanks! Yeah, I do think so, I even made a yellowish glass, but I guess I have to add some bronze in the intake.
Fix'd...
-
I really like that one. I have no idea why, but sometimes seeing these reminds me of the first time I saw my Dad's R/C model catalogue. It had these amazing looking R/C speed boats, and I think that was the first time I saw a Dodge Viper too - just a polycarbonate body shell on an R/C car, but just as cool as the real thing at the time. Bit random, but just thought I'd share the feeling. :P
Keep up the good work.:+
-
I think we'd all think you were wierd if you didn't like Vipers, Saturn. ;)
Who's next Xpand? Triakis?
-
Thanks!
Well, I'm thinking about Triakis or Piranha. I think those are the last ones, along with G45.
-
-
Ah, right! I knew I was forgeting something.. Thanks!
-
I'd be ok with a Van-Uber, too :lol
