"Do you think wipeout should have their own radio in game?"
Not unless it's completely independent of sound effects so that I can turn it off. :D

I think what is meant is a streaming radio station that is broadcast live and streamed directly to your console while you play.
I think its a cool idea, for sure, as long as the DJ isnt a weirdo...quite resource heavy though, i couldnt see Sony forking money out for something like this.
i love custom soundtracks as it is...radio stations is a little distracting and doesn't really fit in with the high profile of anti-gravity racing (which I'm assuming is a lot like F1...I mean, how many F1 drivers listen to the radio???)
Cranking around online to The Fat of the Land...is bliss...
The reason I said what I did was that there was a Dreamcast game, Jet Set Radio, where the radio was built into the game as part of the sound effects, IIRC. It was of course, limited in variety to what was on the disk, and simulated a radio station with live dj/announcer.
The Burnout games have something similar (DJ Atomica) which previous posters had refered to - its horrible and i was trying to get away from.
It could be a neat feature for a future game. Whats to say that pilots didnt have an XM style radio in the cockpit, so they could calm their senses while flying around at some ungodly speed?
