Kinda wish they were offering the painted Tigron from the livestream, but hey can always hire someone to paint it. (Unless you're good at painting yourself like Charlie ;) )
I'm sure we could come to some arrangement ;)
With 3D Printing becoming a commonness I see no problem to produce something like that by yourself. And this Tigron was definitely printed by the looks of it.
All you need is a file with 3D model, that can be found here on this forum, and this magnet thing that can be bought anywhere you want.
Yeah, you'll have to spend money, but hey, you'll be able to get yourself a ship of your favourite team, not just some god-forsaken Tigron. ;)

@AdHoc, too many small details. A printer with higher resolution is needed. I guess two years was enough for this technology to advance.
But nonetheless your feisar looks impressive, a little bit ragged, sure, but if you paint it maybe it won't be noticeable.
I was thinking to start with 2048 ships, they are less detailed then less artefacts will pop up I guess.
PS. How does it feel to have a materialized WipEout ship in your hand in real life?
I'm salty again because I apparently live on the wrong side of the channel for such stuff
Painting ABS is not as easy as it seems. I reckon stickers could have worked better, like they did with the Tigron at the playlist live event.Quote:
