How big was AG Racing in 2097?

It's just that in the instruction manual for the original 1995 Wipeout PSX Game. It said that AG Racing ''Was already bigger than the world cup and olympics''. How big was it by 2097?

I think it was the same as in the early years, but curiosly there are tracks like Talon´s Reach that have no spactator areas. May the whole thing was...yeah, no exeption:?

I think it was probably very big, just viewed more on television than in person. ;)
