Sony have dropped the price of the PSV by $100. So it's now $200, which is probably a lot more affordable. Prices of memory sticks have also been reduced.

I'm curious to know if this move will entice anyone here to take the plunge and buy the console?

Edit: You're right :P I said 50% cos my brain was like '$100 is 50% of $200'

it's not 50%, it's 33% actually. 100 is 1 third of 300!

A vita suddenly looks a lot more attractive now, probably gonna get me one cause of the drop.

I was told in a email I received a few weeks ago to expect Sony to release a newer version of the VITA after the PS4 release.
Not radical changes, more like design refinements.

I have no idea how true this is, as there was nothing to back it up, but the source has been reliable in the past, and the current VITA price drop might be so retailers don't get stuck with old stock
