PS3 crashes lose all WipEout HD save data

Hey guys, so this has been happening to me ever since I got the 4.35 PS3 update. Every time any game crashes, the PS3 prompts you to restore the data lost or something. After doing that, if you start WOHD, the save file is just corrupted for no apparent reason even when it's not in use. This is getting really frustrating because I've gotten golds in all campaigns (including Fury) twice and it just gets corrupted. So when you start the game it's like you've never even touched it before. Has anyone got any solutions to this?
