This topic is in response to a post by Lance, which can be found here:

You want a challenge? Okay, you've got one! :D

The weapon of choice: SLASH! (http://www.hwslash.net/slash.html)

The rules: Whomever finds the most disturbing and horrifically unneccesary slash fanfic wins.

Scoring: Judging will be performed by anyone foolish enough to to read this thread, and masochistic enough to reply.

Here's my opening salvo:
The Starsky & Hutch Slash Archive (http://www.squidge.org/~flamingo/starskyhutchslash/)

Think you can top that?

i dont really have any idea what slash is (edit: oh THATS why the word slash is dark blue :< but a quick search brought up this, which could probably be considered at least weird...

iron chef slash (http://avalon.net/~nonie/spike/bud.htm)

i think yours is more disturbing in general though. do i get points for being the first reply?

.
now, i haven't actually seen this [yet], but i would find Lassie slash pretty disturbing. :o

and before you ask, yes, sex between the principal characters in that series would be slash even in the strict definition because the female Lassie was actually always played by male dogs. [apparently because they suited the stunt training requirements better].

_____

interesting choice of weapons, James. i'm not masochistic enough to win this duel.

____

your link to definitions: H/W slash? so thAt's why holmes and watson lived together all those years in 221B Baker Street! i was such an innocent when i read the originals. i had no idea

For me the most suspicious male couple living together has always been Bert and Ernie.

PRACTICE LEADS TO PERFECTION !

I think that perhaps Bert and Ernie is a bit too easy. Finding some Lassie would have been impressive. I actually tried to find some Benji or B.J & the Bear, but so far I've been unsuccessful.

However, Iron Chef! :o Very impressive - took me totally by surprise!

But now I must up my ante, and present - for the more mature reader - a little tale based on The Equalizer (http://www.slashgirl.freeserve.co.uk/father.htm).

Enjoy.
