Ozone IV - Saturday 11th February 2012

Well it's the last Ozone before the Western launch of 2048, and therefore the last "HD-Only" Ozone. From March onwards novide and I will find a way to incorporate 2048 into Ozone events, hopefully ensuring the event has a long and prosperous future. But for now, let's talk about February.
The date for your diaries is Saturday 11th February 2012. As always we'll be starting at approximately 10.00am (GMT), and will hopefully be going well into the evening, at least 10.00pm anyway.
The rooms we'll be hosting are:
Phantom Single Race – traditional Grand Prix (All tracks, forward and reverse... one race with weapons, one without)
Rapier Single race – traditional Grand Prix
Flash Single Race – Weapons on
Zone Battle – 50 – 55 target, All tracks
Rapier Eliminator – variable targets, selected tracks
* Bling Brigade Room - 3.00pm(GMT)
** Endurance Trophy match (12 race rapier tournament) - available on request, for anyone who needs it.
As always, all offers to host will be gratefully received, as we'll both need some break time during the day. Personally I'm patchy at remembering to write down winning times which doesn't help, but novide and others are much more on the ball. This month I'll endeavour to get all the times though ;)
Also, this month I'd like to try something different. It's an idea I've pinched from andyf53, that he apparently used to do with friends of his online. At various points during the day somebody can nominate a Speed Lap of their choosing. All players leave the lobby, and have exactly 10 minutes to complete the Speed Lap. Then we post our times in The Ozone Room, which I'll write in this thread after the event. If it works, cracking. If it doesn't, we never talk of it again :lol
With regards to team events, I am looking for volunteers for a) a 4vs4 Rapier Tournament and b) a 3vs3 Zone Battle Session (6 tracks). I'd also like to do the Harimau Racers Club Vs AG-Systems match that we didn't get round to last time. All suggestions for other matches we can play will be very welcome.
The last event was particularly well attended, here's hoping this one is too. If you've not been to one of these before, give me a shout and I'll send you an invite to The Ozone Room. That way it'll be in your chat room list and you can jump in at any time during the day.
