Hi everyone !

First, Im not one of these members with 100 or more posts, I dont visit the forums every day , but that dont means Im not a fan of the WIPEOUTS!!

Second, Im working on sonething for a week or so , And I just thought some of you might be interested :

Very long time i was searching for the meshes of the wipeout3's ships, OR , way to somehow extract them from the game's files.I found Nothing.
I was despered, and just said to myself "there is NO way , man !"
But two weeks ago , i brouzed the site www.photomodeler.com , and found out, that the Photomodeler software is Just What I Need !It produses a 3d Mesh from 2d pictures ! So i Made something like 100 screenshots of the pirhana and started working....

HERE (http://jazznazz.hit.bg/PirhanaAlpha.3ds) is the result . Its something like Alpha , cuz its not finished yet.Later i'l add the texture map , and finish the mesh .
and now, some pictures :

this is my mesh , compared with the wireframe from the Promo Pack:
(the orange wire is from the mesh )

Any chance of doing this with any editions of FEISAR?

Or the original WO Craft design?

Than-Ku in advance!

Hmmm, tripod doesn't like that. All I'm getting is links to tripods speech on why it doesn't do image hosting.
Try building a quick little webpage that just displays those jpgs and link to that page instead of directly to the images.

The snapshot of the bottom of the ship must have been hard to take. :o

cool! you should put the zip file as a link on that page.html because tripod will not allow links from other pages directly to files other than .html files.

also, what information did you give that program for the type of camera you were using, and the size of the paper etc? or maybe you could just talk more specifically about the steps you went through in order to model the ship? im trying a lite version that i found online and im having a hard time using it, maybe you can help me out.

Yeah, I have the 3D file. It looks great, although I had to go in and add some lighting to it.. guess it got lost when you converted it to the .3ds format.

I've done a simple mesh for feisar and van but do you think you could send me a copy of pirhana? I'm working on a clone - currently working on GBA but it might end up on the nintendo ds...
