Looking for a *reasonably priced* yamaha cs-5 or cs-15 in good working condition. Cosmetic condition is not important. Would prefer US seller. A bit of a shot in the dark here, but a shot none the less.

besides there is no REAL need to get an analog synth these days.
There are multitudes of software synths based on analog synths that sound great. and are not such a royal PITA.
And "in the mix" you wont be able to tell the difference.
the advantages of software synths far outweigh the need to get a real analogue synth. look around mate.

The CS-5X was pretty much a techno specialist synth.
Should be cheap to pick up a 2nd hand unit as they were never that expensive to begin with, but I wouldn't count on it working 100%.
It was a performance synth, and as such you should expect sweat, beer and god knows what else to have worked itself into both the keyboards action and the circuit boards, plus all those buttons are bound to have a few failing.
Mickrucio is correct partially, I think there was a rack mounted version of the CS-5X that you might be able to score.
Best bet would be the Sound on Sound mag classified's as it's pretty international now.
