I , like most people I imagine, have been watching the world cup.
But I switched over to see what was happening at Wimbledon just as the coverage was finishing for the day.
Right at the end they bring up the Isner V Mahut game , I didn't pay much attention as I'd never heard of either,at first I thought I must of read the score wrong or they had put the wrong score up, I just saw that it was 2 sets each and didn't pay much attention to the game score of the final set, and I didn't quite cotton on to what the presenter was saying, the telecast was finishing when they were still playing.

But I just remembered this morning to check and see if there was a winner, and I see that this one match is going into it's 3rd day!
Holy ****, have a look at the game stat's so far. 10hours of game play.

Here's a run down of what's been happening, pity the French football team didn't show as much heart & fighting prowess as it's Wimbledon qualifier Nicholas Mahut is showing, these guys are legends.:+:+:+

I stopped watching tennis after the Federer vs. Nadal final in 2008. I was completely enthralled by it and I didn't know much about tennis. I was thinking, "man, this is great, I should watch tennis more often." Then they started saying that it was the best Wimbledon final ever, perhaps even the greatest tennis match ever. So then it was like, well, I know it's probably not going to be that good again anytime soon.

Maybe I should turn this on tomorrow. :)

BTW, I just found a torrent for the whole 2008 final in 720p. Hallelujah!

In second round (http://www.wimbledon.org/en_GB/scores/draws/qs/r2s2.html) of qualifying, Nicolas Mahut already won a match 3-6 / 6-3 / 24-22 ^^ This guy should be lover of the grass of Wimbledon !
