Old savegame on new console?

Hi, I'm going to buy a new PS3. I'll copy my old data with this "system backup"-option (I don't know the exact english name) from the old PS3 to the new one. I heard that there are some games where the savegames get corrupted when doing this. Has anybody done this before and knows what will happen to my WOHD savegame?

Make sure your both old PS3 and new PS3 have the latest system update.
There is a new feature added with it designed especially for transferring contents from one PS3 to another.
