First Wipeout game and your current age

Just curious, what are the age of people around here and what was your first wipeout game ? Did you get HD because you had played some of the former games or because you heard HD was good ?

I first encountered wipeout when I bought Wipeout 2097 for PS1 in 1996, then after selling the PS1 I did not play any wipeouts until I got Wipeout Pure on the PSP.

Most WZ members are in their 20s and 30s. The youngest is Al Sartwell's son, who is about six or seven now; the oldest is me, I'm 66.
