The Group: http://www.wipeoutzone.com/forum/group.php?groupid=22

Announcement: TLD TOURNAMENT this Friday, October 9th at 16H30 GMT. Taking votes till Friday, October 9th, 13H00 GMT! I will make up a tournament mode according to the voting results. See you on the track! :) (any psp cpu clock (don't use cheats! :lol) allowed)

The Role...

We represent you the TeamLink Division, the first official team racing league on Pulse (and Pure from now, I hope), exclusively here, on WipeoutZone Arena!

The sessions are open for all Pulse/Pure racers. Anyone who wants to participate on the scheduled meeting, just PM me. ;). The one will be given the password so he can participate on the session.

Available modes for now:

2v2 (2 teams racing, consisting of two pilots for each team)
2v2v2 (3 teams racing, consisting of two pilots for each team)
3v3 (2 teams racing, consisting of three pilots for each team)
2v2v2v2 (4 teams racing, consisting of two pilots for each team)
4v4 (2 teams racing, consisting of four pilots for each team)

Points scheme and teaming up:

For 2v2 mode: 4th/3rd/2nd/1st = 1/3/5/7 (*hint*: place = points awarded) (team 1 = 4th+1st; team 2 = 3rd+2nd)
For 2v2v2 mode: 6th/5th/4th/3rd/2nd/1st = 1/3/4/5/6/8 (team 1 = 8th+1st; team 2 = 6th+3rd; team 3 = 5th+4th)
For 4v4 mode: 8th/7th/6th/5th/4th/3rd/2nd/1st = 1/3/4/5/6/7/8/10 (team 1 = 8th+6th+3rd+1st; team 2 = 7th+5th+4th+2nd)
For 3v3 mode: 6th/5th/4th/3rd/2nd/1st = 1/3/4/5/6/8 (team 1 = 6th+4th+1st; team 2 = 5th+3rd+2nd)
Others will be decided after they are tested
Eliminations (DNF) count as zero points!
Network disconnections and other problems of the same nature count as one point!

The Teams:

The teams can be assembled before events (if the two or three pilots decide that they want to be in the same team), or they can be "shuffled" by doing a 4-race qualifications (zargz, thank you for the great idea! ;)), where, in case of a 2v2 mode, the winner of the qualification tournament teams the last placed pilot, and the 2nd placed pilot teams the 3rd placed one. The analogue is for other modes.

The Race Tracks:

The tracks can be chosen manually or automatically shuffled by the custom-made c# console application. Either with or without weapons is fine.

The Participants List needs to be done at least 24 hours before the event OR by time set by organiser, to allign and prepare everything, and to avoid an odd number of pilots. Please, try to confirm your participation within the time given.

Chat Sessions (our dearest :D)

We usually prefer to use msn to contact eachother and make chat sessions to do spaces between the races more fun and joke-rich. ;)
Other option is the irc channel, which I can create.

IMPORTANT: I suggest to everyone that we use some chatrooms like msn or irc ones. That way we can have information that everything is going smooth or if someone's having problems with his connection or PSN (which is usually the case :() so we have to wait for him. Please, read the next little tutorial if you don't want to use msn: (this is completely free and no registration needed!)

Go to: http://www.mibbit.com/
click on: "Start chatting now"
under IRC choose: Freenode (or some other server; I will write you in the PM)
Enter your nickname (please use the existing one, from this forums)
under channel (right of nickname entry) enter #tld-tournament (or some other channel name; I will write you in the PM)
when you connect, choose the tab (it's the name of the channel)

--more info soon!
#the ideas are well appreciated, always! ;)

: this is how it looked like on the first two test sessions, which went awesome!

Thank you everyone for participating, giving your ideas and a good aura, for the support...All types of feedback always welcome. Let's kick it, Pulse warriors!

Let the Wipeout Pulse/Pure revival begin!

THE RESULTS (August 9th):

May your Air-Brakes never fail you

May your hull remain intact

May your shield forever protect you

and May you finish 1st on track...

(excerpt: written by Pierre Belmondo for his grand daughter Natasha on her first A-G racing trials at Phantom level)...

... and so it begins...]

Thanks for creating this group Arch. After much struggling for worthy Pilots, and an additional struggle in stimulating the online Pulse scene once again, i'm ecstatic at the launch of this division!
From now on this is where i'll reside...

TeamLink ROCKS: 12 Race Tournaments. Fully Weapons Active & De-Active Alternative!

This is Anti~Gravity

This is Adrenal

This is Hyper Hosting

Above all my fellow Pilots... This is WIPEOUT

Pierre Belmondo would be proud! I'm certain of it!

27th April 2009, 11:57 PM
ACE, hahaha, fun as always. Thanks for the support and your kind and encouraging words!

Cheers, mate! ;)

28th April 2009, 12:01 AM
Nice job, arch:clap. Yesterday's team racing was awesome! It's strange seeing you overtaking me, and having to NOT shoot you!:lol Makes things much more interesting.
I like that idea ace just had about alternating weapons on an off each race as well as shuffling the tracks - imagine plat **** black with no weapons!:eek

28th April 2009, 12:03 AM
Alex, we did the first test tournament weps on/off alternated, but this one, I wanted to leave it ON to have more fun and uptempo. ;)

(the first link on "This is how it looked like..." part)

28th April 2009, 12:05 AM
Good timing! I only just bought Pulse last week. Or maybe that's bad timing, hmmm. Maybe I'll join in if someone wants to be a complete noob's team mate.

28th April 2009, 12:07 AM
Just awesome, Saturn. You didn't do a bad timing. And I'm willing to race with you, if you don't mind.

Thanks, guys... (gotta go to sleep now, lol :D)

28th April 2009, 12:16 AM
Yeah Saturn, come and join in. Pulse isn't that hard to pick up, especially when you race with guys like ACE and arch, stealing all their lines like I do!;)

28th April 2009, 12:17 AM
Gotta hand it Luxoflux, without whom the TeamLink woulda been compromised... Respect Luxoflux

MrSmadSmartAlex, Archman, thank you guys for keeping it rocking whilst I was in Amsterdam. When I came back, Alex had morphed into an Air-Licker Phantom bad arse... forcing me to pull my socks up and get counted. Awesome. And in only 4 days!
Arch595esc trained you Frankenstein style... and now you rank elite. What an awesome talent you are MrSmadSmartAlex.

I'd race with you too SaturnReturn, you're timing couldn't be more perfect...

Welcome to TeamLink!

Probably - I'm an editor by trade, A play on words is my forte...

You like, Lance?

PS- thanks for editing/joining my posts together - I was typing it from my PSP so couldnt do much really... Appreciated

28th April 2009, 08:27 PM
LOL. I'm in guys, I mean I'll do my best to join when I'll be able to. Great idea, great challenge.

28th April 2009, 09:24 PM
obviously im in too :) Let TeamLink commence :D

29th April 2009, 12:47 AM
LOL. I'm in guys, I mean I'll do my best to join when I'll be able to. Great idea, great challenge.

Man, things just keep getting more and more interesting... I can hear "Tokyo" from pulses soundtrack playing in my head...

Kanar i've seen your records too, you're another Elite Pilot! Thanks for expressing an interest, and Welcome to The TeamLink Division!

I hope to meet with you online soon!

Luxoflux: you're in mate! That was a crazy skin on your Triakis you demon!

29th April 2009, 12:53 AM

I like wordplay, but dislike excessively obstreporous graphics.

29th April 2009, 01:08 AM
Hmmm... The older I get Lance, the more I realise life is full of compromises...

Take me for example, tonight I am once again, typing from my PSP... an Editor without a laptop. lol

29th April 2009, 08:31 AM
Announcement: Anyone interested in racing on this friday, saturday or sunday, please PM me!!

30th April 2009, 01:48 PM
Just created this animation for the TeamLink Division - your comments and criticism is most welcome...

Also you can view the working version on the 2nd post of this thread... thank you for showing interest.

30th April 2009, 02:00 PM
simple but really nice animation! I love the way you're dedicated to the game mate lol.

btw :
Kanar i've seen your records too, you're another Elite Pilot!
lol thx but I'm not elite stuff at all. I'm just a crazy insane guy who spent too much time playing this game, instead of going out, seeing friends...

30th April 2009, 02:19 PM
But by inviting friends at yer home sweet home you are doing your part by maintening those 'connected' links between eachothers. You rock Kanar!
"coin coin"

30th April 2009, 02:36 PM
At Kanar - I remember when I didnt have a PS1 - and all I could think about was Wipeout (the original)...

I saved my pennies and got my set up... Ever since, I've played the Wipeout games HARD. It became an obsessive passion - everyone who knows me knows me to be a Wiper. If I can contribute to this scene in any way from the use of my limited skill, I will.

Oh, and like you - I also have spent many an hour playing this game when I shoulda been out socialising - I'm still guilty of this lol

At Asayyeah - Think we all do our part in contributing- even if it's going online to play, or hosting matches at home... It's all part of the collective scene which makes Wipeout what it is today - I guess really, we're the only ones responsible for keeping this scene alive... At this point i'll have to express my gratitude to the members of this site who have been here for years... There are too many to mention here but I'm glad this site exists, and carries on to exist because of your interest and membership. And lastly - to the Moderators and sponsors of this site - in making it a site worthy of being my homepage... (Even above Amsterdam Coffeeshop Directory lol);)

30th April 2009, 02:55 PM
well said mate, & thx Arnaud lol. Wipeout Unity. Hope to race you guys this we, if I find a way to escape from the real world.

1st May 2009, 09:00 PM
Announcement: Team Racing tournament on Sunday, 20H00GMT (PM me for the confirmation)

2nd May 2009, 12:52 AM
Looking forward to this one... Wanna see all the usual suspects, Alex, Arch, zargz (hopefully), Luxoflux, ... and some new faces, veteran Pilots all in the mix. TeamLink sessions are so much fun! If you haven't got plans for 20:00gmt then PM Archman now... Let this happen!

2nd May 2009, 01:00 AM
I've got a doubles match on HD at around the same time so won't be able to make my pulse online debut just yet. But I've played it exclusively the last few nights and am making good progress so hopefully should be able to compete reasonably well in the next one.

2nd May 2009, 01:26 AM
Good luck on the HD Racing, line up well.

Not to worry SR, I'm sure we'll meet on track soon!

... Lookin' forward to it!...

3rd May 2009, 06:53 PM
OK Fellow Pilots of the AG Order... The TeamLink Races will start in approx 2 hours from this post... PM Arch to confirm your slot, I want as many Rapides to join as possible!

Let's make this one, One to remember...;)

4th May 2009, 10:00 AM
Announcement: The first official TeamLink Division Tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 8th, at 18H00GMT. (Anyone interested, please PM me! I hope to see you this time!)

8th May 2009, 12:29 AM
I'll be missing out again as I won't be back from work at that time. I only just unlocked outpost-7 (is that it's name?) so I'm still rubbish anyway. Be sure to post results and stuff so I can check it out. I'll be ready and able at some point, and always willing :D

8th May 2009, 03:33 AM
hello again SR, yes it is Outpost 7, however, I prefer to call it Ghostpost simply coz no1 really plays it online... it is a difficult track to master, let alone race on! I do love those consecutive hairpin bends though...

I'm looking forward to TeamLink racing with you. Join soon!

8th May 2009, 07:36 PM
No entrants again. Guess we need to work on the Participants List...Maybe do the teams before the event...dunno...

10th May 2009, 10:02 AM
This time TLD takes place in the biggest event ever, Avalon. We will race in teams on Saturday, May 23rd starting at 19H00 GMT. PM me for the confirmation. (PM name: Confirmed)

10th May 2009, 06:11 PM
Just confirm all the times on this thread Archman, need to get an idea of what time frame im looking at again.

12th May 2009, 02:12 AM
I've already confirmed, just wanted to say "welcome to the TeamLink Division" to Kigo. Hopefully Seraph will also join this weekend!

MrSmadSmartAlex and Archman will no doubt race, so really if we get 1 more pilot - we can maybe do a 2v2v2 or a 3v3. I'm ever the optimist!

but it can happen! Any racer that can race phantom can join. if anyone is interested, please PM Archman for details

You can also check our TeamLink Group page in the Social Groups section or in the WipeOut Pulse thread! thank you!

12th May 2009, 08:56 AM
Yeah, ACE! I think that TLD powered by Avalon will attract some legends...5 racers confirmed for now (including me lol), more wanted (so that we'll have to do multiple hosts lol). It's still 11 days left to the beginning of the tournament. I know someone will confirm! (Seraph, hope you'll participate!)
btw.: All info is always on the first page of this thread! ;)

12th May 2009, 01:51 PM
Yeah Arch - almost forgot, powered by Avalon... That is some cool stuff. We now hove 6 confirmed (some real cool talent) - and we still have over 10 days before the event, which means we may have more participants for TLD Racing - this is giving me goosebumps buddy...

Thanks to all who have confirmed so far... if anyone is interested, here's the info http://www.wipeoutzone.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6150 and if you want to confirm your place please PM Archman your name and the word CONFIRM - Arch will then get back to you...

12th May 2009, 01:57 PM
We are 7 now. I'm in!

12th May 2009, 02:00 PM
Thank you, James! ;)

12th May 2009, 02:59 PM
JamesSP - Welcome to the TeamLink Division. This is superb!!! Thank you for your interest and confirmation.

Anyone else interested - the info is here:

We are now 8 pilots - so one Host is full - but if more wanna participate, this is possible... PM Archman to confirm your placement! Thank you.

20th May 2009, 09:02 PM
As time draws ever closer to the Avalon/Teamlink events this weekend - Those of us with a competitive spirit and passion for the FX-400 are starting to race online, anticipation of this weekends events are forcing us all out to race online - And the prelude to Avalon/TeamLink has been absolutely Helter Skelter... Weapons carnage has been delivered to all ships and all racers have been feeling the intensity of these races - none moreso than ME!

22nd May 2009, 07:57 AM
One whole full session for Saturdays event! PMs with information sent to all 8 participants (I've sent one to myself too, lol)! Can't wait for this! Thanks everybody! ;)

23rd May 2009, 04:12 PM
Sent one to yourself too? Man that is a bit absent minded... lol.

I had to post here - my excitement at the thought of tonights TeamLink session is getting the better of me... I know I suck at phantom, but who cares? This experience is gonna be awesome - racing as a team, What a concept...
:hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper :hyper

Yes I'm a jumping for joy metaphorically speaking ofcourse... I keep thinking about whose team I'll be in - the conversations over MSN - the races - What to do with bombs (dont wanna bomb or mine my team mates) etc... Its all just so damn exciting at this point.

Arch - thank you for organizing this event and Kanar - thanks for ensuring it was powered by your super league event Avalon.

RJ O'Connell
23rd May 2009, 06:52 PM
I'll be around next race.

24th May 2009, 12:43 AM
I hope so. It was hilarious on msn and and intense on track.

Great racing earlier... You got some serious skills! You just have to be in TeamLink next time round! It was everything I expected it to be, and more!

24th May 2009, 04:37 PM
Thanks to all the Teamlink participants yesterday:+:+! It was tight and intense all the way through, just as we hoped! And great fun (racing and MSN);).

I recorded almost all of the action, so after I edit out the races I didn't win*, I'll upload it to Youtube and post a link here.

Arch - you rule for organising this:clap

*joke - I'll upload all I have:lol

24th May 2009, 04:48 PM
Thanks Alex! And thanks for the footage we will soon be able to see! Really, I appreciate it! ;)

25th May 2009, 02:34 AM
Alex, thanks mate... the work you are doing behind the scenes in figuring out how to record these vids in decent quality does not go unnoticed... you have put a lot of time into this and I'm anxious to see the results!

Hats off to you!

25th May 2009, 09:50 AM
No worries, guys. The quality will be ok, but nothing mind-blowing, and unfortunately there's no sound on this occasion, so I'll be attempting to make all the game sounds myself with my mouth, then I'll dub that over:lol.
Once I have all the right stuff, I'll be able to do better quality with sound.

25th May 2009, 01:39 PM
I did enjoyed a lot through msn and also racing & fightin with all of you on saturday it was a pure intense moment. Thx a lot Archy and Flo for the organisation & host and all the contenders who took part in it :)

25th May 2009, 03:45 PM
Thank you all for participating, the results are at the bottom of the first post on the first page! ;)

25th May 2009, 07:44 PM
Thanks for the results archman. Gotta love my qualification score, ha! :lol Would it be possible to get a running total column added to the results image? It would be cool to see how the teams' total scores changed throughout the tournament.

25th May 2009, 07:45 PM
Yes, Saturn, I thought about doing it, and that's how I was quoting when we were racing, so I can inform you about the score. I will do it now!

edit: of Crap!! I accidentally removed xls file!! hmm....:(
edit2: LOL; ok I scanned the paper (legend: MI (us) is Pandas, ONI (them) is Monkeys. Uploaded!

Thanks, Saturn! ;)

25th May 2009, 08:32 PM
Thanks arch. I also did this because I was bored. (Shame it's too large to post the image without going against forum guidelines) :(

Results (http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b367/SitarHero/TeamLink_p011.jpg?t=1243279627)

26th May 2009, 02:55 AM
ah ah Archman, d-d-da da (i can barely contain my excitement and am stutterring) d-d-do you m-m-mean t-t-to say we're doing another TeamLink session this Saturday? count me in buddy... HaHaHaHa, I'm so damn happy now!

Oh ****, what do I tell my girlfriend Michelle? Man I'm gonna be in trouble...

Big trouble in little love nest! Such a beautiful and loving lady and I neglect for online gaming experiences... I need to be analyzed by a psycho-analyst or psychiatrist or something... I'm an idiot aren't I?

26th May 2009, 07:43 AM
Yes you are, just like me. My gf is sometimes at my place, and I'm playing Pure while she is looking at me or doing her Facebook crap stuff! :D

26th May 2009, 11:56 AM
Facebook ugh! Arch I don't know how to tell her... leave it with me. I'll have to get inventive and make something up... Oh no!

26th May 2009, 02:19 PM
Thx for the result those 2 reports are great :clap
and congrats to James for 1st rank global and Panty-Pandas ;)

26th May 2009, 03:14 PM
Thank you Asa, you got a silver in global! Awesome skills! ;)

27th May 2009, 05:19 PM
Once again, we will step into the tournament. Racers, do come in! ;)

27th May 2009, 07:53 PM
Yes - its like Arch says - if anyone is interested, get in touch... open invite - just be ready for Phantom!

30th May 2009, 02:36 PM
Sorry for the late reply. Has there been much interest? How long is the session likely to be? I can play for between 1-1.5hours if you have an odd number of players (am trying to limit game time at the moment for various reasons).

31st May 2009, 12:05 AM
Some videos from the TeamLink tournament on 23-5-09 are now on Youtube!
The quality is ok (bear in mind that it actually looked pretty much like that with 8 racers in), and no game sound - sorry, it'll be there next time.

Anyway, have a good laugh at my terrible racing!:lol

part 1/4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYfAdcWESXE
part 2/4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efeun8Zb1Vs
part 3/4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9d3KfknS4w
part 4/4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6Ax-FyymK0

Hope you enjoy!:)

31st May 2009, 12:16 AM
Maybe I should actually take part.

31st May 2009, 12:19 AM
Good to see the videos uploaded:+

Looking forward to see the other ones:D

31st May 2009, 12:25 AM
Thanks mate! And for racing!!!:+
That's all the TeamLink I have - 4 videos, 4 races each video. I missed Amphiseum Black, and Platinum Rush White, but the rest are all there.
I do have a few other online videos I could upload some time though. Some nice head to head (weapons off) racing with arch, and various Avalon races.

@mdhay - sorry mate, you need to be over 10 years old for TeamLink:lol! Only joking mate - I know how old you are.;)
Yeah, do take part - speak to arch.

31st May 2009, 01:22 AM
@ SaturnReturn: Unfortunately, we need participants who can play consistently for 22 races. You already know all the rules. ;) Hope you will make it.

@ Mdhay: You're welcome, mate! (sorry for the first time when you got disappointed, but, believe me, it's not easy to organize such an event, where you need an even number of players, and if one fails to come in the last moment without informing me, I have a problem, and then I'm a b*tch in your eyes. I hope that you understand.) Please, confirm your participation by PMing me with the "Confirmation" title.

Thank you, guys. ;)

31st May 2009, 01:31 AM
lol, now i understand a bit of whats talked about on the msn chat sessions lol.

31st May 2009, 02:53 AM
Smad, I haven't seen the vids yet, am typing this from PSP. lol. Tomorrow I will though, am anxious to see how I faired, though I was stuck at the back of the pack mostly haha...

Mdhay, TeamLink is harder than regular racing, but Martin, you're more than welcome. + you got your own Custom Spec TeamLink EG-X so no excuses...

Kigo, lol, stop feigning ignorance, you're the one responsible for half the belly busters on MSN... you nutter!

31st May 2009, 03:35 AM
you would of been laughing tonight. We where bitchin about Mr Hazelnut Nutella spread racing on the track. Goddam quick nutella too.

31st May 2009, 04:25 AM
Been busy with the missus... she's back home now so I got a visa to do what I want tomorrow lol, no doubt this involve racing and MSN ... And er... my AirLicker Pro AG-Systems needs to be tested yet too... On paper - it's looking dangerous!

31st May 2009, 08:02 AM
I'm thinking of trying to take part during the week, as weekends are reserved for the PS3.;)

@ Mdhay: ...(sorry for the first time when you got disappointed, but, believe me, it's not easy to organize such an event, where you need an even number of players, and if one fails to come in the last moment without informing me, I have a problem, and then I'm a b*tch in your eyes. I hope that you understand.)...

I understand, but don't go talking about yourself like that; it ain't healthy. Sure, you wanted everything to be perfect when it comes to TeamLink, and it wasn't. People make mistakes - it's what makes us human.:+

31st May 2009, 12:08 PM
mdhay, the TLD tournament takes part on the 13th of June. Please, guys, do refer to the first post.
And, please, no offtopic here, we try to keep this thread clean as possible.

Cheers, archie ;)

31st May 2009, 03:24 PM
Just seen Smads uploaded vids of TeamLink tournament

At Smad!!!!!! - TeamLink means NOT shooting your team-mates - I got shot by you many times matey... Target firing ya buddies does not help us to WIN!!!:blarg

31st May 2009, 03:31 PM
hehe - sorry ACE. I only shot you twice, with the cannon. KIGO also on 1 track. It happened when you drifted between me and whoever I was shooting at, and the lag made it hard to react quick enough to stop. I also got blasted by teammates at various points. 8 racers = carnage!

edit: just watched all the videos again, and all I can say is WTF?!? You got hit by 1 ROUND of my cannon on Vert W (I'd already stopped firing when you appeared), and YOU knocked me off the bridge at the start of Arc Prime W! Get the facts straight before you post crap like this.:|

31st May 2009, 09:23 PM
Wow, I can't wait for next TeamLink... Smad, the vids are awesome, I only just saw the vids just now lol... Sorry for psyche... :wink

4th June 2009, 02:26 PM
only 9 days to go my fellow AG Pilots... Are we ready for this?

Arch has been busy trying to organise multi-hosts for the upcoming TeamLink Division event... Meaning some of us will make it through the preliminaries into the the main event of Team Racing - this is a proper Team tournament now, ofcourse - it can only get bigger...

I implore all members who are currently active on Pulse, to join this event - I can guarantee the most competitively charged racing - and - a barrel load of fun inbetween the races... Please PM Arch with the header "TeamLink Confirmation" and he'll get back to you...

With an event like this one - it really is a case of "the more, the crazier"

4th June 2009, 04:05 PM
Whose team am I on?

4th June 2009, 04:17 PM
@mdhay, team sorting is based on the 4-race qualifications. If you didn't, please refer to the first post in this thread. ;)

7th June 2009, 10:32 AM
I apologize to everyone, because I know I'm bugging you to hell about this following participation. But I need to be sure who's gonna participate and who can't. Because if someone cancels without me knowing it, the whole system ****s up...
Thank you for your support, crew! ;)

8th June 2009, 11:21 AM
I apologize to everyone, because I know I'm bugging you to hell about this following participation. Two racers more to go. And we have 2 rooms.

You did well. You're really dedicated, that's why you managed to get two rooms. Good job mate. Pulse is a great game, thanks for offering with this league some sort of oasis hosts sometimes. And Fantastic vids Alex btw.

8th June 2009, 02:40 PM
Thanks, Kanar!
Guys, two sessions are full! (I hope that noone will cancel it) :)

11th June 2009, 01:01 AM
Superbly executed Arch, we're doing 3v3 X 2rooms right? a dozen Pilots, over 4 teams... this one is gonna be good. real good. i got a feeling!

11th June 2009, 09:37 AM
Yes, but I will need to cut down the track number and the whole event time, so Asa can participate. Hmm...what you guys think about prediciding the teammembers?

11th June 2009, 10:04 AM
ok, we will most probably have a preordered teams, to squeeze the time on event, due to some participants don't have much time. Hope to see you all on saturday 19H00GMT. First thought teams:

Team 1: supersox, xtriko, Asayyeah
Team 2: James_sp, Luxoflux, ACE-FLO
Team 3: MrSmadSmartAlex, Kanar, Archman
Team 4: Flashback Jack, mdhay, stin

Everyone ok with this? I had to form teams practically in the "last minute", I have a reason for that. I hope that everyone is ok. If someone wants to switch teams, please let me know.
Also, we will do 20 races this time. It will be a knockout style, means that two teams will end their journey sooner, after 10 races, unfortunately. So, battle your position! ;) (but you can always stay playing in the other room, if you want to host some racing, sure, lol)

11th June 2009, 10:25 AM
Sorry Arch for the multiple and not very readable and understoodable PM i sent you : bottomline is i will be there :beer

11th June 2009, 10:37 AM
Ok, so let's see how all this will go. ;)

11th June 2009, 10:57 AM
damn i feel bad for you Arch & Alex. I'm soo terrible now on pulse ah ah. I'll watch your back anyway guys lol

11th June 2009, 11:01 AM
Well, I can already tell you, I'm happy with my team! We'll win no worries! Mwuhahahaha

11th June 2009, 11:28 AM
... not happy with the way the Teams were chosen, the teams should never chosen like this. The way the teams were formed last time was method based on ability, it was fair... this time round the integrity isn't there...

I don't see why we can't do 4 races to see who ends up in which team, it won't take more than 20mins!

otherwise TeamLink wouldn't be Fair... lop sided results are no fun...

EDIT: Ok - been on MSN to Arch - and I now understand the reasons (quite extensive) as to why we cannot do the preliminaries to decide teams - there are many complications (TLD is still under construction after all) but suffice it to say that the teams are at least chosen in a fair and well though out manner... I am happy with the situation as it stands and my apologies to all who think I've been a cry baby for not having it my way (I did cry - but Arch gave me a tissue and told me it'll be ok)

11th June 2009, 11:38 AM
we could do just one clasification race, that is 5 minutes.

11th June 2009, 12:48 PM
Best idea. Everyone exchange there MSN address, and everything can be all created at the last minute.

11th June 2009, 12:54 PM
Some can't do msn+pulse at the same time, unfortunately.

11th June 2009, 01:01 PM
who?? Oh mdhay... That just one person isnt it?

11th June 2009, 01:01 PM
I am with James SP suggestion, 1 race qualification for organising each team and then start the races.
Btw i didn't noticed it before but in my country we are at GMT+2 ( forgot the daylight saving) that means a startin at 9 pm ( thx Archy ;) )

I also second Kieran's post : everyone on msn slightly before 7pm GMT :rock

11th June 2009, 01:05 PM
It is not possible to make qualifications as msn is required for it, and not everyone can make it to msn this time. Sorry. Everyone ok with his team? Switching is possible. Just let me know. And keep it balanced LoL.
btw, kanar and Alex, let's lose this tournaments like heroes, with DNF's :D:D ;)

11th June 2009, 01:10 PM
Lose the tournament?
WTF? hahahahaha - I see the joke now - You guys are gonna rock come Saturday - I just know it... BTW - did you explain to all racers that there is no Jay-Tech allowed? As I understand some of us can race with this device (don't know how coz it sucks bad, I tried it and kept grinding walls - I prefer my way, Flo-tech - more natural!!!):rock

Oh - re: you guys losing like heroes with DNF's - that's my heritage man!!! You cant take that from me!!!

11th June 2009, 01:14 PM
I didn't, my bad. But everyone should know that anything except "default" cfw and JayTech are not allowed. I already, kind of, "filter it out" by inviting racers to an event. Cause I mainly know who races it and who not. But that rules doesn't make sense after all, cause everyone could break them and draw a profit out of it. I just hope that noone actually will. Cheers.

11th June 2009, 01:17 PM
Default CFW means running at the PSP standard of 266mhz which is agreed upon as the gentlemens agreement yes? And strictly no Jay-tech...

This is a good compromise - one which I - an OFW idiot - is happy with!:nod

12th June 2009, 12:41 AM
"Team 1: supersox, xtriko, Asayyeah"...
Hope you two mates don't mind that I bring down our team lol :S Its been a while since I played pulse for the last time... I made a few online races tonight and... terrible XD
Asa, supersox... I'll do the best I can ;)

12th June 2009, 01:20 AM
Well, I suck after a few races... so it looks like we're gonna be battling for 5th place lol! No, I'm sure you'll do well... I hope I'll not let my Team down either. humph.

12th June 2009, 11:50 AM
ACE, shall we put some practice today? lol friendly matches ahahaha. I don't even know what ship should I use XD

12th June 2009, 12:05 PM
I reckon you Xtriko and ACE are the people i would see when attending a Prodigy event.:rock

12th June 2009, 12:51 PM
ACE, shall we put some practice today? lol friendly matches ahahaha. I don't even know what ship should I use XD

Cool idea Mr X. I'm leaving work now for lunch now, and going home straight after. Should be available for races around 2:30pm GMT+1.

PM me your MSN too.

Kigo, I know I'd be there. Lord knows I've started enough fires in my time. Besides that - Prodigy is totally killer spec Kool.

12th June 2009, 03:21 PM

12th June 2009, 04:29 PM
OK - I'll be online hopefully a couple hours from this message - just gotta finish painting my shed at home... Will see you there - and we get some practice in before TeamLink!!! Lets roll this one out!:rock

13th June 2009, 08:06 PM
Team racing isabout to start - Mdhay is missing - please report to tld r2 online... I trust you know the PW Mdhay!!!

13th June 2009, 09:22 PM
The tournament is doing good.

Thanks to MdHay for not showing up and ruining all that wasn't made because of him (qualifications).

Cheers, kid! ;)

13th June 2009, 09:54 PM

Personal problems????!!? You're 10! You don't have personal problems! LOL!

1: I am 15.
2: I do have problems.
3: You're saying that I'm a brat and a child, but you are resulting to profanity?

@ACE FLO: No. That happened some 3 years ago. Grow up.

Archman, I am not a brat. In fact, since you're laughing at someone's problems, you are more of one than I

13th June 2009, 11:15 PM
I'm sorry to hear you are having personal probs - but, you should have atleast tried to make contact with someone in teamlink division - let them know you wont make it, so we coulda maybe made other plans? y'know?...

@ACE FLO: No. That happened some 3 years ago. Grow up.

that is rich coming from someone who shoulda been old enough to understand what a courtesy message is...

I guess your reply - the one i quoted in the post before this one - seemed a bit rude to those of us reading it!!! not even an apology for your mishap - just a rude message!!! anyway - what can I expect? you're only 15... nevermind!

17th June 2009, 10:57 PM
ok friends, due to some difficulties for find a date to make the Team Link Division finals, we need all the finalists to tell their availability here. Maybe with this we can find the perfect day for all of us.
So this message is for Asayyeah, Supersox, Xtriko, ACE-FLO and Luxoflux.

For the next two weeks my available days for race at evening are wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday. What about you?

18th June 2009, 12:40 AM
I can be available from Thursday through Sunday... between 7pm - 1am GMT.

19th June 2009, 11:16 PM
I can race saturday, no problem with that. Sunday is a no go for me.

22nd June 2009, 07:55 PM
Ok - the weekend is now done...

When is everyone available for the final - can we post here please?

22nd June 2009, 10:29 PM
Three of our members are lucky I wasn't here while they were engaging in childish flames about a week ago.

23rd June 2009, 12:57 AM
So this message is for Asayyeah, Supersox, Xtriko, ACE-FLO and Luxoflux.

For the next two weeks my available days for race at evening are wednesday, thursday, friday and saturday. What about you?

I can race any evening, just depends on when the other finalists can race!

Let's see!

23rd June 2009, 03:10 AM
Three of our members are lucky I wasn't here while they were engaging in childish flames about a week ago.

Im missed most of the faceoff also Lance, but my God some of those posts where funny as anything, Archman is sure is Red Army when he gets unhappy.

Funny times.

So whats happening this weekend regarding this coming up event? Im in the green to attend to guys this time.

Pulse Online Rulz:)

23rd June 2009, 03:22 AM
Kigo, we were trying to arrange the Final matches between the 2teams which made it through.

So, you in for the next TeamLink? cool beans!

Yeah, Pulse does rule, the online servers are quite active these days!

23rd June 2009, 03:32 AM

Lol at the tags on this thread here.

23rd June 2009, 08:39 AM
Ok, we will do an event this weekend too (besides the finals). I thought about 2v2v2 mode. KIGO, Alex, ACE-FLO, James, Luxoflux, you guys in for it?

The date/time will depend on the finals. #(Are you guys ok for some afternoon like 15h gmt?)#

Cheers! ;)

btw.: nice tags lol (why a frog? :D)

23rd June 2009, 09:09 AM
We'll keep in contact via MSN, arch. For any sudden changes. But i should be there.

Don't worry im not a ten year old with issues, lol;)

Lol tags here are great.

"Cranky Croac is No.1" classic!

23rd June 2009, 10:44 AM
I can race any evening, except thursday and saturday this week. Next week i only cant race on thursday. Looking forward too the finals :)

23rd June 2009, 11:12 AM
OK, the finals are this Friday (26.06.09.), 19h00 gmt. Host James_sp (everything ok?).

23rd June 2009, 11:38 AM
For me it's ok. Are the team 1 (Asa, Sox, Xtriko) gonna be available then?

EDIT: Arch and me are talking about the TLD finals and the racers availability.
The case is that Asa won't be available for this, so we had agree with the idea of choose
a substitute for Asa. Arch will tell our decision to the chosen one and then the rest of you
will know it, so stay tuned!

23rd June 2009, 12:11 PM
Yep, I'm cool with this!

25th June 2009, 11:12 PM
Just to keep you all up to speed - I'm gonna save time by copying and pasting from the online meetings thread!!!

OK peeps - this is probably gonna be my last post here for a while, I broke my Pulse UMD disk...

Ok - not clever, but after being called a cheat by a certain someone, i got angry and broke it.

For the record - I don't cheat - never have done - Only learnt what Jaytek is less than a month ago (dont use it please), and have a PSP1000 with OFW.

I also have an admission to make here - I suffer from epilepsy, stigmatism in my right eye, my adrenal glands are effed and I also have bad eye sight to top it all off... So really, I shouldn't even be playing this game.

The epilepsy is the single most strongest reason why I shouldnt play, but I carried on doing so - because I aint afraid of it,(even though I've had fits whilst onlkine and had to eliminate unknowingly coz I was unaware of my surroundings) I don't shy away from stressfull situations. I've already been advised by my GP that computer games are bad for me and will aggravate the signals which cause me to have an epileptic episode (a fit)...

My reasons for telling you all this is clear - I don't want you to think I left because I was a cheat - I AM NOT, never have been!

Most of you experienced pilots who have raced me, have kicked me countless times - I thank you for your beatings ;) and your kind words of encouragement when I was getting dissed by another ex-member here.

I wanna thank Archman - for making me believe I could race the Phantom speed class, (Personally its all you mate - I would never have gone for phantom on my own),

Also wanna thank MrSmadSmartAlex - my oldest wiper buddy to date, we've been racing the longest! The memories of those early races are still fresh and make me smile...

Kigo - you have provided me with much entertainment to date, and have also kicked my ass online, nice one!

FBJ - though not here - he has helped me with racing tips and the like so yes, thanks to FBJ too.

all my friends on my buddy list - there is a reason why you guys are my buddies, it is because I have seen something which rings close to my heart with you guys, you're all good people!

And last but not least - I wanna thank Rob (Infoxicated) for always taking the time to answer any queries I may have had. He knows what he's doing, even if you guys don't think he does... Just trust him will ya...

Anyway - this aint no goodbye speech - I'm taking a break from wipeout - gonna enjoy the sun, have a few scoobies (Sorry Arch but yeah - I started again) and generally enjoy myself with my friends and my partner Michelle, She'll be glad I broke the UMD at any rate... she hates me playing PSP.

Once I feel the "withdrawal" symptoms from pulse - I'll get another UMD disk.

But for now - It's bye from me!

Take care guys. Do love you all!!!

26th June 2009, 01:21 AM
Thanks for the words, mate, and do whatever is good for your health. I wont long with words, just to tell you, I will remember you, hehe. Cheers, and enjoy this summer. There is much more to explore under the bright sun.

Cheers, arch. ;)

26th June 2009, 10:03 AM
Racers involved in the TLD finals, check the first page of this thread.
Finally we're gonna play 2v2v2 this evening, ok?

27th June 2009, 02:18 AM
Lost my net from quater past 11pm (11:15pm) last night, ****ing dumb.

Same time i got signed out of the PSN on the PS3, at the same time i got signed out of messenger at the same time i couldnt refresh any of my pages, not ****ing happy about it.

Not sure what happen to the night after that for you guys, but i frigged around for a few hours waiting for the bitch to come back online. Just before 9:15am here it came back. ****ing stupid net.

27th June 2009, 02:46 AM
Ah Kigo, nvm. they did a 2V2 session in the end. Results are in the first post of this thread!

...Sort your internet out lol...

27th June 2009, 04:07 AM
Ive been trying to sort this internet out with these ****ing shitfaced ****er cunts, for months now, and now im out of energy.

Ill have to pay til the end of November til when they say the full contract is over, i simple do not have the funds atm, to pay these bastards a disloyality fee of that size,

Plus its not easy getting a good internet package/deal in the most isolated city on the planet, stingy data packages and cunty bandwidth. Dont expect anything in the near future cause it wont be happening. A dont ****ing nag me about it because i cant do **** atm,

**** it im going to buy a ticket for next tuesday 90mil OZ lotto draw.

27th June 2009, 05:13 PM
Just to say thanks to james, kaori, and arch for the awesome racing at Teamlink yesterday (and for putting up with me being an idiot on MSN - sorry, I was drunk:lol)! And thanks to Xtriko for the drunken racing and antics before we started - I hope your PSP is ok mate.;)

27th June 2009, 10:20 PM
Yes! Thanks to kaori, James and Alex for another hot evening! Looking forward to the next one, guys! Probably the next week? And I think that I'll film some of those, cause I see that the raw movie size is pretty cheap! (~50mb)

27th June 2009, 11:01 PM
Thanks to you, I don't play much Pulse, so it's always a pleasure to play with fast guys like you.

10th July 2009, 09:52 PM
Are we doing a TeamLink session anytime soon? I propose we have on e next weekend if there is sufficient interest here...

It's been a while since I had a team session, probably you guys too. This time round we've got GMT timezones displayed in our stats when we post so we can figure out time zones pretty easy too... it will be easier to organize with the timezone info imo.

Besides, Pulse is a great format for wipeout, and we have to enjoy it as much as we can before our D-Pads stop working.

Any takers???

11th July 2009, 03:05 PM
I am for TL Sessions - good chance to practice! :hyper

11th July 2009, 03:22 PM
That's excellent Night! Let's hope our chairman (Arch) finds time between studies and exams to organize the next TeamLink!

Gotta love the guy, he's put a positive aura over himself, trained Pilots like me, and gave us TeamLink Division! He's even revived Pure on X-Link Kai...

Archman for President!

Thanks Arch, Pulse Warriors FTW mate! roll this one out please!

Whoa - I'm definitely up for Team Racing again... fast becoming my most anticipated event when it comes to gaming! :rock

9th August 2009, 07:59 AM
I hope servers will be overloaded this evening :beer

9th August 2009, 05:53 PM
I am almost online! I am curious who will be my team mate for tonight! Good luck to all. See you all soon. Greetz Mad-Ice

9th August 2009, 06:58 PM
I'm in :rock

9th August 2009, 10:39 PM
Awesome :rock:rock 2v2v2 :rock session today guys - thanks for racing the TLD.:):guitar

10th August 2009, 12:36 AM
Big Thanks to Mad-Ice, Alex (wut???!??!??), Ace, NightArh and Kaori for this cool TLD evening! Sorry I wasn't a better host this time, but there's always a second chance. :)
Also I need to take better care about this confirmations, and will probably change the limit from 1hr to 1 day for a participating confirmation. There's just too many line-up changes happening at the last minute. Seems like some of us haven't realized how should this thing work. Team racing is a mode which is harder to sort out than some "normal" gathering. It requires an even number of racers planned, and when one falls out (which happens constantly) at the "last second" the whole scoring system changes, and then the Cranky Croac GF is out again. :( Sorry, I'm like that. :D

10th August 2009, 02:07 AM
:lol You weren't the host! :lol
Nah, it was fine mate. You can't help the PSN being :turd sometimes, after all.

Anyway, thanks to all for shooting and ramming me to bits.:lol;)
Great fun - I'm sure there'll be another one soon.

10th August 2009, 06:00 AM
Yeah thanks to everyone! I was the worst yesterday but Alex said he will excuse me ;) Next time will be better. Oh and I got DC at the end of sessions :?

10th August 2009, 11:15 AM
Anyway, thanks to all for shooting and ramming me to bits.:lol;)

You got shot and rammed the least Alex, after all - you was way out ahead lol. It was us mid-pack pilots who got rammed, missiled and bombed to oblivion so quit your noise :wink lol.

Excellent team session though. Awesome!

10th August 2009, 03:23 PM
That was great fun! I was a bit out of practise but I had some real crazy fun races. I'll try to race more online! Anyway, a special thanks to my team mate Archman who brought us the victory of the night and for organising this event. Big up for Kaori who put up a superb fight, way to go mate. Furthermore a :clap for MrSmad for being the fastest of the night and a :rock for Ace-flo and Nightarh.

See you soon guys, greetz Mad-Ice

10th August 2009, 08:26 PM
Alex said he will excuse me ;)
Hehe. You don't need excusing mate! Some you win, some you lose - that's just the way Wipeout is (especially with weapons ruining the racing:lol).

11th August 2009, 09:50 AM
Announcement: August 22nd, under Avalon hosting, we will do another TLD session starting at 19H00 GMT! On August 21st we do a classic Avalon Session!

Rules for participating changed. Limit for confirmation is 24hrs. Please recheck all rules. :)

Cheers, and hope to see you on that event! :)

21st August 2009, 03:48 PM
I'm in! For both events!

Peeps! - This is Archs last hosted TLD before he goes to uni (no wifi), so whoever can make it is humbly requested to join the avalon and Team Link Division events today and tomorrow...

See you there!

21st August 2009, 06:32 PM
Sorry guys, I can't make it to this TLD, and probably not Avalon:frown: (although tonight I may be able to join for a race or two here and there).
I will try to get back into online racing though, maybe next week. If only I could resist playing TT all the time...:lol

21st August 2009, 10:37 PM
Event cancelled.

23rd August 2009, 08:38 AM
I`m really sorry about last night because, me and my wife went home at the back of 11pm after OAP`s fete where Linda`s works and it was a great day!

I`m really sorry about this.

14th September 2009, 08:47 PM
I think it's time another TeamLink is organized... Will Arch be able to organize one? I miss our Team events, it's been a long time, huh?

15th September 2009, 12:04 AM
A new TLD event would be cool, im up to participate in one. But i though Mario was going back to the City for Uni studies or something, im not sure how busy the man is....

15th September 2009, 12:37 AM
Yeah, he should be starting Uni soon - but maybe, just maybe he can organize one? I don't think he starts uni til end of the month. We'll have to see, I guess.

5th October 2009, 01:12 PM
Announcement: TLD TOURNAMENT this Friday, October 9th at 16H30 GMT. Taking votes till Friday, October 9th, 13H00 GMT! I will make up a tournament mode according to the voting results. See you on the track! :) (any psp cpu clock allowed (don't use cheats! :lol))

For more info, please refer to the first post.

(KEEP TRACK of GMT crap!)

Please, IM chat is required. Tell me your msn adress, or if you can't come to msn, we will meet on irc (the easiest way, also check the first post on this thread (mibbit, or similar...)). Thank you! :)

Hopefully see you on Friday! ;)

5th October 2009, 02:13 PM
(any psp cpu clock allowed (don't use cheats! :lol))

Well, with raised eyebrows I ask "What about the gentlemens agreement?" seems hardly fair to those of us with OFW Arch. Your smoother gameplay (cfw@333mhz) vs my laggier one (OFW standard@266mhz) holds me at an unfair disadvantage...

... in the interest of fairness to wipers, I think you should revise the clockspeed issue! It also eliminates the possibility to cheat :? not that I believe zoners are capable of cheating :?

5th October 2009, 03:25 PM
Awesome Cranky Croac has organized another Pulse racing meet, a tad long over due. You going to invite you best 10year old mate along as well Arch:D;)

"Personal Problems????!!? You're 10! You don't have personal problems! LOL!

The phrase of 2009 i reckon :D

Anyway, ill love to participate in this one, talk to you sooner during the week about it Arch:p

5th October 2009, 04:22 PM
... in the interest of fairness to wipers, I think you should revise the clockspeed issue! It also eliminates the possibility to cheat :? not that I believe zoners are capable of cheating :?

Replied to PM.

You going to invite your best 10year old mate along as well, Arch? :D;)

Sure thing. :lol ;)

8th October 2009, 09:00 AM
Bump: From now, voting is open for another 27 hours :lol :lol.
Luxoflux and me are in. Anyone else?

8th October 2009, 12:48 PM
Thanks for the PM Arch, all was explained well enough for me to agree with you on this one. Cheers.

TL-D is becoming less frequent nowadays due to Archies Uni commitments, but TL-D is AWESOME fun. Hard, but FUN! So if you're Phantom class, don't miss this rare opportunity to race the TL-D...

... unfortunately I can't make it due to prior commitments, and I am gutted :(

Have fun peeps!

8th October 2009, 09:54 PM
"TL-D" means TeamLink-Division? That's something new? :lol

8th October 2009, 09:57 PM
****sake im more confused than ever before.

8th October 2009, 09:59 PM

I think I can make this one. Hopefully there's enough in to do it. I haven't played in a couple of weeks, so I'll be :turd.:lol

8th October 2009, 10:01 PM
:g TL-D // Abbrev. See "world inventory of anti gravity racing" logs... :D

It's all about the TL-D man!!! :rock :D

It's all about our main man ACE!-FLO!!???!?!!! :lol

8th October 2009, 10:03 PM
Whats the dates down for this again?

I might be up for this one, given that i can get Gran Turismo PSP out of my UMD in my PSP.

8th October 2009, 10:05 PM
It's all about me wishing I could join the TL-D tomorrow, and feeling a lil gutted coz I can't... :(

8th October 2009, 10:09 PM
Dunno if there'll be any TLD tomorrow, but I know that there's no any "TL-D" for sure. :lol

8th October 2009, 10:10 PM
Join Ace, it is better than having a compression session with Mhay :blarg:D:pc:paperbag:P:eek

9th October 2009, 04:00 AM
Ah, Kigo - Mdhay is quite cool mate! :) ...

... I really wish I could join, but can't mate :( it's a friends wedding reception tomorrow :) So it aint all bad :)

You guys are lucky to be racing the "TL-D" once again ;)

:blarg [gutted about not racing TL-D]

9th October 2009, 08:16 AM
I'm gutted that I didn't join T.A.L.N.R.E.N :lol

9th October 2009, 08:16 AM
Thats whats great with the Playstation Portable........... well it is portable.

Take it with you, and if you have a moment jump on a unsecured wireless and join us in a few races :D

9th October 2009, 08:51 AM
KIGO, this doesn't work that way, remember? Check the first page. :lol

Lux, Alex(maybe) and me are in for now. Anyone else? You all bragged about no competitions anymore, and where are you now? ;) "bring it!" (viva la infax) XD

9th October 2009, 11:23 AM
Wait! It starts at 16:30gmt right? I don't have to be at the reception til 7pm-ish, so if I leave work a lil earlier than usual, I can make it!

Count me in Arch. Let TL-D commence... :rock

I'm gonna suck, it's been ages since I've played pulse :D

9th October 2009, 11:29 AM
So 0:30 GMT+8 time then? its already 6:30pm here :lol

9th October 2009, 11:32 AM
Ace, you edit your "TL-D" bullsh*t, and I'll add you to my list. :lol

For now the list is: Alex(to confirm), Luxoflux, ACE-FLO, me.

9th October 2009, 11:33 AM
You mean "TL-D" bullshit, the censor here doesnt seem to pick up that word along with cunty, :lol

9th October 2009, 11:36 AM
Smirks, shakes head and thinks "how the hell did Kigo make it to University?" dials 118 118 and gets told that the standard of education is lower in Australia :D - it all makes sense in one fowl sudden swoop of realization :D

... just messing lol

Arch, 1st post, thread header "TeamLink Division" ... abbrev. = TL-D ... ahem, closed. Now tell me, do I leave work early for TL-D ;) or do I stay at work over a split formality of abbreviated initials :D

9th October 2009, 11:43 AM
I got in, since Jaytech is allowed in years 11 and 12 to get to Uni :lol

In Australia if your a ponsy chardonnay sipper you can pay your way to get into Uni.

But i got in cause i aced a few subjects, along with fuccking up a few others.

9th October 2009, 11:48 AM
Arch, 1st post, thread header "TeamLink Division" ... abbrev. = TL-D ... ahem, closed.

WTF are you talking about? abbrev for TeamLink Division is TLD and that's it. (TL-D...it even looks like sh*t :D)
LOL You enter the "TL-D" room today, we'll enter the "TLD" one. XD

kidding mode = OFF

Gotta do some uni work. See you today I hope. :)

9th October 2009, 11:54 AM
wikipedia is your best friend at Uni Arch :D

Plus the Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, plus the Ctrl+V keys :D:D:D:D

9th October 2009, 12:38 PM
Arch, yeah mate. Hope so too! :)

Kigo - you racing teams then? :)

9th October 2009, 12:57 PM
Yeah i have to now, i said yes, dont want to do what Mhay did, or Arch will go bonkers at me:P:lol

9th October 2009, 01:44 PM
Yes, you better be there, or I'll do a compression session on you, Kigo. :lol ;)

9th October 2009, 02:03 PM
A compression session is when someone brings a bong, and some weed, and you share it with a few mates in a small room :blarg:P

9th October 2009, 02:06 PM
It's like FTA, means something else to me hahahaahhaa.

Ok, participants list: Luxoflux, ACE-FLO, KIGO, Alex, me (spectator).
One more needed though. Where are those new guys now?

9th October 2009, 02:26 PM
Arch, why you spectating? :?

9th October 2009, 02:40 PM
Five is an odd number. We need an even number to be in the teams. We'll see. For now I'm just spectating.

9th October 2009, 03:02 PM
Ah, yes! silly me. Hey, what about NightArh? Have you asked him yet? 3V3 or a 2V2V2 sounds good, if we manage it! :)

9th October 2009, 03:03 PM
Yes, asked him, it's too early for him. :( Where's Temet and other new guys?...

9th October 2009, 03:15 PM
Temet posted in the Pulse online meets thread recently, said he's playing Dissidia and something else, so no pulse for a while for him. Is Dissidia that good?

Anyway, I think it's about time Kappeskopp (who is a zoner) joined TLD ... yes, I wrote "TLD" :) :blarg :D anyway, it's too late to ask Kappe now. Gah! :blarg

9th October 2009, 03:52 PM
I'm spectating.

9th October 2009, 03:52 PM
Get Mr Mike Flashback Jack in :D

9th October 2009, 04:17 PM
Your not gonna believe this. My old psp died on me as i tried 2 download the new fw. fck it. so i cant make it. gonna get a psp3000 next week though

9th October 2009, 04:22 PM
Ok 2v2 now. Lux, good luck with psp 3000. :) See you some other time. :)

Attention: PSN is currently undergoing maintenance.

I don't know if we'll be able to connect at 16:30 GMT...

9th October 2009, 04:43 PM
I tried going online too, and was furious at the message! The timing is not on! But we wait I guess. :?

9th October 2009, 04:45 PM
It connected fine for me.:?
Only the PSN Store wasn't working.

9th October 2009, 04:46 PM
It works here now, on american account.
KIGO and ACE-FLO, sign in to msn, please. :)

9th October 2009, 05:53 PM
Well, I got a magnificent report for today. We tried to connect to the PSN. And you know what? You don't. So I'll tell you.

Alex and me managed to connect first, everything went smooth, after this "maintenance" notification. btw we're on 5.50GEN. Check out this scenario: KIGO and ACE-FLO, trying to connect, but they are NOT ABLE TO. Yes, they use 6.10. OFW 6.10!! AND THEY CANNOT CONNECT to the Playstation (R)(sh*t) Network!!!!!!

This is simply filling the cup to the limit. I can't believe that there's millions of people supporting such a false firmware. (I'm not dissing ofw crap just cause of this now!)
I'm actually really impressed of how really, actually, blind some people are here. Telling cfw is not right and all...What is right? Not being able to backup your own ****ing UMD? Not being able to play a homebrew game and actually maybe help a "little" dev? Not being able to do ANYTHING with your PSP? You know, Sony hates you, hates you as much as the PSP. But you still love Sony. I admire you. You should love the devs, who give you the game, that awesome work, not the ****ing monopolist. Take out the bait of your mouth and say F U C K you to the ****er!
And use some firmware that is good enough for you as a human, not that chickenshit ofw crap. Thank you.

Cheers. ;)

9th October 2009, 06:07 PM
Cranky Croac over and out.

9th October 2009, 06:35 PM
Hmm... I wonder what Foxxy's reaction will be.

9th October 2009, 06:50 PM
I respect Rob, he can say whatever he wants. I never said anything against him as a person or anything else.
