Awesome JJPAP...
Now those brits just have to find their last racer.

And for everyone already mentioned in the lineup, please confirm your availability for Sunday (I am bringing cookies for everyone).

P.S. I hereby confirm my own presence for the race.

6th March 2009, 12:16 PM

I have to be in on this one please. :lol

Just remember drunk driving is considered doping... just saying :dizzy

6th March 2009, 06:48 PM

cmon lads, still undefeated! :g ...

Bin (and your sisters as well):
What you´re facing sunday is not some bornean tripe without electricity,
it´s not four drunken cardinals on a sunday morning,
it´s not head-amputated children from Belize - (which is a nice country, by the way).
You´re up against The Ice-Men from the North.
You´ll soon enough find out what a real killzone is all about!
Better bring you´re stand-ins ... You´ll need them :lol.

6th March 2009, 07:01 PM
Good, I was wondering when we were going to start slagging each other off. :lol

Soccermums: I wont drink anything if you don't roll anything. :blarg

JJPAP: What we are facing is a picnic and then an early night. 8)

EDIT: With a walk in the park to make it intresting

6th March 2009, 07:20 PM
Picnic? Walk in the park? Nice dream you've got there, or you've just been playing too much flower.. it's a shame your wonderland will shatter when i stuck my AG-S up in your arse. :lol

6th March 2009, 07:41 PM
Ooh! Homo-erotic thoughts will not deter me!

Nice try though. :lol

6th March 2009, 07:54 PM
You wish it was homo-erotic you dirty dirty man, it was AG-Erotic! ;) And yes, i have more thrust than you can handle :lol

6th March 2009, 07:59 PM
Thrust or thrush?:P

6th March 2009, 08:02 PM
Both !!

6th March 2009, 08:06 PM
Thust or thrush?:P

lol :lol

6th March 2009, 08:09 PM
You do realize this is the only sensible posting going at the moment. :lol

6th March 2009, 08:10 PM
Yup, kind of ironic eh?

6th March 2009, 08:22 PM
Somebody has no life at a 'food basics store'....

Tis the only sensible talking going on... anyway i got better thing to be doing than reading his 'fantasy' posts anyway... off ta pub =D

P.s. im up for the Nordic Vs Englang tourney :P

6th March 2009, 08:56 PM
Well, Andy ... You´re slower than ever.
I´ll put you on the stand-by list :P.

6th March 2009, 09:02 PM
ha ha... im never on this forum enough to get my name on the list first... i usually wait for someone to remind me.. =D thx guys!

6th March 2009, 09:02 PM
If there's any drop outs before the tournament on Sunday for Team England let me know, I'll be ready to take their place.

6th March 2009, 09:24 PM
Well, Team Nordic has decided on their team for sunday´s match.
I wish you englishmen would do the same. You have to settle it somehow.
We´re really nice fellows. We´ll help you in anyway we can. Guide you around the tracks if that´s what needed, won´t hit you too hard if you´re afraid of pain, embrace you if tears are running down your cheeks after the first 8 races.
But - Team England: You have to decide on who´ll be a part of your own team!
Extra help: If you´re in need of wipers, I´ve heard about a guy called Hahahaxorger or LillyLover (or what ever the f***´* name is). He seems to have a lot of spare time.

6th March 2009, 09:44 PM
But i doubt he won't be able to race, because of lack of brains. He's only able to talk crap, and sucks even on that so.. not much of an option huh?

Unless.. awww too nasty, better to shut up or you guys would kill me :lol i think i got your draft there Pappy :)

7th March 2009, 01:06 AM
Sunday!!! Judgement day... buahahaha :banzai

7th March 2009, 02:08 PM
I´ll take that for a Yes, I´m ready! OLOuk not grey anymore.

7th March 2009, 02:45 PM
But - Team England: You have to decide on who´ll be a part of your own team!

Dont worry my friend! :D

What you need to realise about the english - Is we can turn up out the blue sunday morning, hungover, pipe, slippers and coffee at the ready - get the job done...... and go straight back to bed :g

doesnt help the old errr..... organisational skills it must be said :beer

7th March 2009, 02:57 PM
Too bad there's no spectator mode in WO. Would have been quite enjoyable to see the old Empire crushed in real-time :g

Good luck to all!

7th March 2009, 05:50 PM
Yippee now i have something to wait for, instead of boring and rotting to death whole sunday!

8th March 2009, 12:26 PM
im strapped in, fired up, and ready to go.

8th March 2009, 12:35 PM
Way too early, Osama!
You´ll burn out before 20.30 GMT.
Take care.

8th March 2009, 12:50 PM
I'm going wired connection for tonight so I may be playing in realtime for a change. :)

Good luck everyone. Zoth-Ommog, I hope you don't Finish last. :p:clap:rock

8th March 2009, 03:04 PM
That could be insulting in a way, but it isn't because it's very much possible that i do finnish last ;)

8th March 2009, 05:54 PM
I'll be recording tonight's match up, and I now have a Wegame channel so all videos will be watchable this time :) Will give you the link after the match

8th March 2009, 07:20 PM
Sounds good Hellfire!
I might tape the match as well. It´s just that I get a little distracted with the camera in between me and the telly.
But what the heck, it´s only vs. England: There´s plenty of room for a little distraction :p.
Good luck to you all - especially Zoth, Soccer and Chaos.

8th March 2009, 07:25 PM
Good luck to all, may the best team win! Oh yes, spectator mode would be awesome, I really would like to see this.

8th March 2009, 07:35 PM
Thx Mad-Ice and congrats.
Hopefully we´re not delayed ´cause all of the mess they have to clean up after your match vs. France!

8th March 2009, 07:40 PM
Thanks mate, well some tracks have to be re-decorated for sure! Chenghou Project Forward was a real mess! All those quakes ruined it totally. Expect a delay of half an hour.

8th March 2009, 08:03 PM
Just realised I'm going to miss "Lost" for this. I'm sure it will be worth it. :)

8th March 2009, 08:20 PM
Good luck everyone. I hope you all have as much fun as I did in the other match. Looking forward to the outcome. Should be very intersting.:rock

8th March 2009, 08:30 PM
Good luck tonight fellows :)

We should team up with the Dutchmen against the Brits real soon :)

8th March 2009, 08:34 PM

8th March 2009, 10:36 PM

And again Hellfire beats JJPAP :o.
At least we agree on the score :+.

8th March 2009, 11:08 PM
Congratulations England :burger

You really ran away from us on Ubermall reverse and Sol2 reverse :)

Ahh well... we might have lost the battle... but the war is not yet lost :beer

8th March 2009, 11:09 PM
Well done England, I think you carried me through that. Ubermall reverse was the best i think, a top 4 places for England. Sebenco reverse was the worse where i hit some scenery and got pinged backwards half a mile (when will I learn).

Well done Team Nordic you did very well.

I may be demoted to "b" team after this showing though. Or "c" :beer

8th March 2009, 11:13 PM
Well done Team England. It's amazing how close individual players' scores come out in these matches. Not to mention how similar Team England's scores were in this match to the Dutchmen's scores in our match.

8th March 2009, 11:13 PM
Waaaayyyy well done lads, knew you could do it.
Well done to Team Nordic as well, t'was a dead draw on the forward tracks :rock

Don't worry KBG, at least you raced in it, the one week where I didnt check the zone was the one week you organise this! Doh :brickwall

8th March 2009, 11:21 PM
cheers greenix :beer

Well done Team England. It's amazing how close individual players' scores come out in these matches. Not to mention how similar Team England's scores were in this match to the Dutchmen's scores in our match.

me talking a short break helped :beer
i had no idea we drew on points 1st round, thought id let the team down.... i tried hard to help out on rev tracks to try and make up, even slowed down from 1st on vk just to hit JJPAP with a quake :g

nailbiting stuff

8th March 2009, 11:28 PM
Cheers Lads for this! It was f****** amazing!!! Sorry Hellfire for those mines, I`ll double check next time. Gr8 work Team Nordic!!! Time for :beer

8th March 2009, 11:33 PM
... even slowed down from 1st on vk just to hit JJPAP with a quake :g

I didn´t see it coming - I thought you´d left us again :beer.

8th March 2009, 11:40 PM
Great job guys, it was a really fun tourney. And I pretty much kept up my record of being a mine magnet on a few tracks too ;)

OLOuk, don't worry. Let's face it, you could have been on the opposite side of the track when you laid them with the entire pack between us and I'd have probably still managed to hit them :lol

EDIT: I've created a blog to act as an archive for all the arena events that people manage to record. If you upload them to something like WeGame, I can create a blog post and add the links to the videos from there. So far I've got the Team Nordic vs Flying Dutchmen videos that SaturnReturn made, the ASTRAL league second pool videos from a few days ago, and tonights Team Nordic vs Team England match up.

Here's the link to the blog: http://hellfirewz.blogspot.com/

JJPAP, if you do decide to upload your videos as well, let me know and I'll add them as well. It'd be good to see the tournament from different points of view :)

Again, apologies for any ruderies you may hear, I do get quite vocal sometimes ;)

9th March 2009, 08:52 AM
Congratulations to Team England! What a scores, so close. I wonder what had happened if the police hadn't showed up at Osama's door?

Only 1 player from each team that did not finish last on one of the tracks. Looking forward to a battle between Team England and the Flying Dutchmen.

9th March 2009, 09:10 AM
Great idea, Hellfire. Good work :).
I hope it´ll open other countries eyes to the fun of these kind of matches.

Hellfire: JJPAP, if you do decide to upload your videos as well, let me know.

Of course, I will :nod. But it´ll take a couple of days as it´s DV and can´t be transferred directly.

NB! Splitscreen view (http://www.wipeoutzone.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5403&page=31) from Team Nordic vs. The Flying Dutchmen, if you want them for your archive.

9th March 2009, 01:50 PM
Well done everyone and with great scores! Congrats to the Brits :beer

2vs1 adds a twist :g

Ghehehe :P I meant teaming up our own pilots ;P

10th March 2009, 12:06 AM
Loads of new videos up guys, last ones will be put up tomorrow :) Check the blog link in my previous post
