If you smoke try giving up and play wipeout when you really need a ciggie because your heart will be jumping out of your chest and you won't be able to fly straight!

Or.... everytime you feel the need to play Wipeout HD you go and have a cigarette instead... In my case, anyway... :blarg

LOL Asa I know exactly what you mean. It`s black humour really. A few smoker`s jokes in here, which are often darkly ironic :robot

I`m quitting at the moment, and when I saw this thread title last night I thought it might be a withdrawal-fuelled hallucination. :blarg

I have been like Chaos80 too .

At the moment I can`t concentrate quite enough to play wipeout effectively. Definitely my heart is "jumping out of my chest" and I can`t fly straight. But really I know it won`t be too bad in the long run and I will stop smoking if I want to. The nerves and withdrawal symptons are just your addiction dying. To some extent they are only as bad as you make them. Anyone can give up if they are prepared and really want to do it.

Well...I don't smoke, but when I play Wipeout I suddenly need to have a coffee (which is like smoking to me).
It could be an interesting discussion: Could Wipeout HD help you giving up smoke or could it make it "worse" and motivate you to smoke?

and yet you rinse me on the track. maybe i'll take some speed next time i see you, if only to cater for the irony of it.

The first 5 days are the worst and then it gets easy. I've been on the inhalators for nearly a year - stopped the inhalators for 5 months but just wanted to kill people all the time - went back on the inhalators and I'm hunky dory.

When I'm playing Wipeout I've got an inhalator permanently stuck to my gob.

Good decision Firedshot. You can stay on NRT for life and it won't hurt you.

non-smoker; occasionally have either a couple beers or a red bull depending on whether I wanna kick back or focus :P

Quitting smoking - no problem, I'll do that right now.

Quitting Wipeout - I wish!

Far more addictive for me than girly-cigars are. :blarg

IH8YOU think of the language coming form my mouth last night when you beat me! The non smoking brought a whole new level of stress to that last night lol
