Yeah, it would impossible to police, but as long as it was let known what was expected beforehand then it might have a positive effect.
I don't mean to imply that the latest round of people have just disappeared from the forum after getting the BB/Transcendence trophy, but it is well known that this does tend to happen by long time forum members.
I just though that this trait could be amended somewhat.

It just seems rather rude to me.

Just like leaving the room straight after getting the trophy without waiting to see if everybody else got it, especially if somebody else was waiting in the wings to replace a spot so they could get the trophy as well, which often occurs.
That's happened a hell of a lot of times.

If you had any idea what a complete nightmare it could be to have a successful BB race, even over a year after HD was first released, especially before chat room became available [go through some of the early pages of this thread] then you would realize why I think some people are taking the help given by forum members currently for granted.
Even though it is a LOT easier to get this trophy now since so many others have been through the process.

All valid points. I have even noticed that a few people just deleted me off their friend's list after helping them get the BB trophy. Oh well. There's at least 7 of us here that can help, I think. I'm always game, though my time difference does seem to present a problem for most people.

can't believe how many guys played wipeout hd just for the trophy thing lol. (This remark not specially for you guys btw, just a thought about the ENTIRE thread) Jeez I still don't have zone zeus ah ah. I'm not even planning to platinum the game, I'm just speed lapping when I can. Surprising how this game can catch you for a couple of mins, for hours or forever. I think the younger generation love the trophys! its there sort of street cred lol and they try to out do each other and its something to talk about at school. But for an adult its not so important... i have a friend on my list who has 55 platinums and 3000+ trophys lol.
The Wipeout platinum is one of the hardest plats to get.

ps: I'm 33, and I came from the 8 bit generation, and I'm quite addicted to trophies :D
they reminds me when I just used to beat scores and ranks with coin ops, in times when not all the games had an ending, and you had just to beat the score :)
Btw, wipeout hd is one of the most difficoult platinum, and I MUST be one of the few in the world who gained it :g
it's just a challenge. like the original spirit of videogame when I was a kid :nod

I've tried to get it many times... But failed in all of them (one who doesn't take the silver skin, many people who left in the middle of the game, etc...)

Even though this is the last trophy i need, i'm thinking about holding off for a while because every time i get ready to do it, something happens and i miss out. It's not anybody's fault, but when you are on a tight schedule it's hard to join a game for the bling brigade.

Thanks a lot guys, got this done pretty quickly @10pm, only took about 15 min total as everyone was online. There may be other people online now Cipher, I'm not sure, I had to go to work straight after.

Was kind of freaking out as my PS3 crashed as it was trying to join the game. Then I couldn't select my craft without it exiting out of the craft selection as soon as i entered it.

In which case the game started and we had to restart :+

I still had problems trying to select my craft as it kept exiting out after 1 second of letting me choose (anyone encountered this)?

Anyway, I could scroll down to the silver skin luckily, and we got it :)

If anyone else needs it in the future, I may be able to help out, my work start time is flexible, can get there a few min later like i did today no problem :rock

I know what Bling Brigade is, simply it's quite unuseful for me, since I'll probably won't be able to get the Zico and Zeus trophies, so with or without Bling Brigade I won't get the Transcendence trophy.

I guess Transcendence is the objective and that's why everyone wants to earn at all costs Bling Brigade, or I'm missing something?

To tell you the truth I'm not a trophy hunter, mostly because a lot of the trophies revolve around speed runs (that I hate, especially when they ask me to do it on stuff like Monkey Island) and others are just pure nonsense for me.

I too want to help people, that's why I put my name in here.

Transcendence is a different matter, usually I don't bother with trophies, but there are a few exceptions, and Wipeout HD is one of those exceptions, mainly because I have such a good time playing it. The other reason is that HD's trophies actually make sense, they do not involve a lot of boring stuff to do and mixing them with normal gameplay is quite fun for me.

All you need to do is create an invite only race and send out the invites! you can either enter the names manually or pick from your friends list.
Then to accept an invite just press select and you will see an option to join your friends invite! its similar to most online games.
