Hi to all WIPEOUT-PURE and anti gravity craft ever ....fans.

Let me introduce myself: My name is Jan Rükr and I´m proud wipeout pure and PSP owner.....I´m the papercraft designer and builder too.

I´m creating various models from the sci-fi movies and games....like TRON,ACE-COMBAT3,RIDGE RACER 4...and my favourite movie ALIENS.
All my models are free for download and you can glue it from paper sheet if you print it...see (and download) for yourself.

http://aliens.humlak.cz

Here is My request: I need blueprints,3d models, color layouts, good picture of all hovercrafts ...for what..sound your question?

I want to build a diorama of wipeout-pure race.(from paper of course)
You know the diffrerent between pictures in your psp console and fully touchable model fo the hovercrafts. ....after finishing the model will ne free for download at my pages.

It will be a part of the racetrack and all hovercrafts on it....souns good...:o)

please help me to create the part of the amazing world of wipeout..ALIEN99

There are blueprints for the Wipeout Fusion craft on the downloads section of the site. Good luck with it. :+

wow, alien99, i've seen your site, and you've got some great models there! I like the pulse rifle the most. I'm just wondering, are some of these pics enhanced in some way?

After what i saw on your site, i simply can't wait for some wipeout models. Keep up the good work!

Wow, you've certainly got my attention. Best of luck with this :)

EDIT: Holy crap, after looking through your entire collection, I can say you won't need luck! Love the lightcycle!

Amazing work :o !!
Congrats for that. The result should be very interesting to see with wipeout crafts

The official site at www.wipeoutpure.com has floating wireframes of each craft in the Teams section. You can place the different liveries over them as well. Hopefully that'll be useful to you.

Those Aliens models you made look amazing alien99, particuarly the pulse rifle.

Good luck with making some WipEout models, I can't wait to see them!

Thanx for support....the wipeoutpure.com is good source.
I´ve created some fotoprints from the psp display and collected the known informations into the "HOVERCRAFT CARD"...
..here is a little sample....for FEISAR :)

http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/wipeout/FEISAR.jpg

...the list of known hovercrafts (for me) follows:

FEISAR
AURICOM
QIREX
AG SYSTEM
PIRANHA
ASSEGAI
TRIAKIS
HARIMAU
KLOR
TURBOWEEVEL
CARDRACER
HAIRONAUT
TIGRON
VANUBER
PUMA 1
PUMA 2
GOTEKI45
ICARAS
the list includes known add-ons ffrom Europe packs...I hope.
...For complete list and gather really all informations I want to know if there are some extra hovercrafts in US packs..If you have it, please send them (pics & list) here for me....:)

....I want to create really all the hovercrafts fo the wipeout pure diorama.:o)
...there is 18 hovercrafts I know about......

any chance there is a side view of the craft not in wireframe (full paint scheme)??

1. welcome to the forums, you've really some stunning models on your website :)
2. At the WipEout Pure Website you can zoom in cause it's made with Flash. So if you want to see the wireframe in higher resolution, just rightclick and chose zoom in from the drop down menu :)
3. You won't find any blueprints/wireframes of the Add-on packs. You can have screenshots of the ingame wireframes (in the PSP screen's resolution) though if you want them. Just ask and I'll make them for you.
4. Most people don't see the Omega-crafts as real WipEout teams, so I'm sure most would appreciate to see the original ships 1st. It's your decision though as you make them and nobody can tell you which craft to do 1st :)

wow! best of luck with this project, could be AWESOME!

oh and by the way, please don't call them 'hovercraft', they don't like that ;)

alien99
22nd August 2006, 03:55 AM
OK...
..."hovercraft"...is a an elegant word, but The used technology don´t match the wipeout crafts...Iknow:D

...on the other side ANTIGRAVITY CRAFTS or ships ...is little bit longer.
...starWARS have PODRACERS:brickwall
Minority report have MAG-LEV (magnetic levitation)

...how about ANTIGRAV-CRAFT... AC->in short form :)

http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/wipeout/001.jpg

working at the texture...:+

http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/wipeout/002.jpg

and have a little complication or question.....
..what the hell is this?

http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/wipeout/003.jpg

some sort of logo?? pilot names??.....any suggestions?..

Shem
22nd August 2006, 05:28 PM
to me they look like some dents, probably to stick your feet in so you could jump into the cockpit. on the other hand - why two of them? hmm, i'll stick to your opinion alien99 and repeat it -

'what the hell is this?' haha

Edit.

oh, and if you ment that yellow thing there, then i have absolutely no idea what that is. no idea.

Zerow
22nd August 2006, 11:27 PM
I think it could be a light that turns on when the cockpit is opening and closing, and if there's a mechanical fault and the cockpit window halts only half open/closed, it flashes to indicate a problem. That's the only possibility I can think of.

Task
22nd August 2006, 11:49 PM
The two dents on the left side are exhaust ports for cabin air. It gets hot in there without some airflow. The thing to the right of them is the pilot logo, a personal modification pilots are allowed to add to their craft once they have sufficient seniority.

...

Yes, I'm just totally making this stuff up. 8 )

Chill
23rd August 2006, 01:07 AM
Perhaps that Fusion logo with the two chicks sitting back-to-back?!! Or what Task said? I don't know!!! :D

http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/wipeout/008.jpg

..the complete model will be with the optional parts...like air brakes in open pose or display stand..

..that´s my progress for now....;)

But... that could be cool in future if you can just post a www link to view your pics and not directly like you did ( just think about those who doesn't have Xdsl connection, even they are few here , be kind with them ;) )

OH MY GAAAAWD! This is absolutely stunning! I tried putting together a w3o piranha model once, and I just HATED all the fiddling with glue and paper, and in the end it was all twisted and weird. But what you are doing just looks PERFECT. Can't wait for all the other ships! (do Assegai! do Assegai! - with livery paintjob if possible!)

alien99
27th August 2006, 07:01 PM
Thanks for your opinions guys :)
FEISAR is allmost finished.....SO WHAT WILL BE NEXT?..:?
I´m looking into the craft list.....

FEISAR
AURICOM
QIREX
AG SYSTEM
PIRANHA
ASSEGAI
TRIAKIS
HARIMAU
KLOR
TURBOWEEVEL
CARDRACER
HAIRONAUT
TIGRON
VANUBER
PUMA 1
PUMA 2
GOTEKI45
ICARAS
allmost forgot for the ZONE CRAFT

the next will be AURICOMhoooorayyyy...is the second in the psp list...nothing else :D

Or you can make an inquiry about "WHAT CRAFT WILL BE NEXT".
..so?..I´ve noticed 1 vote for AG-SYSTEMS and 1 vote for ASSEGAI.
as I saw.. the ASSEGAI craft is pretty easy pizza
easy shape,easy to build.8)
the AURICOM craft is little bit harder to build ..it will have little more pieces than feisar .:brickwall

P.S. Have anybody here some good pic of the color mutation of the craft for the COCA-COLA...(seen in japan version)
still collecting reference materials...

to admin.: I keep an eye on that (about that pics);)

lunar
27th August 2006, 07:25 PM
I vote for Goteki 45 :)

Hellfire_WZ
27th August 2006, 08:10 PM
You would, wouldn't you? :D

Jan, I noticed you also missed off the Medievil craft, but looking at how complex it would be I can imagine that was probably intentional ;) As for the Coke craft, the best place would have been Cokestyle.net, but unfortunately it's been discontinued. There may be some screenshots lying around online though, or maybe even here if you search through some of the older threads.

My vote for the next one goes to Triakis, but I'm honestly looking forward to every single one.

Chill
27th August 2006, 08:16 PM
I'm looking forward to everyone as well!!! I don't care which one, just as long as you get all of em', including previous Wipeouts at one time or another, so that the paper measurements and coloring and all can be made, awesome again man!!!

Shem
28th August 2006, 10:49 AM
c'mon man, Icaras!!!! I'd vote for AG sys if it actually looked nice in Pure, but Icaras is just tha bomb! I'd like to see that one in real life. That one and the zone craft, but zone craft doesn't count, heh.

Icaras!

Icaras!

Icaras!

(that's 3 votes from me, booyakasha!!:) )

Sausehuhn
28th August 2006, 12:52 PM
AG-5Y5 is a beauty with 2. livery :)

Lance
28th August 2006, 05:25 PM
I'm with you, Shem! Three more Icaras votes from me!

Task
28th August 2006, 05:44 PM
I'm definitely voting for Qirex! Nothing beats the twin-hulled purple brick.

Icaras would be good, too.

And I wouldn't even bother modelling the atrocious "cokestyle" ships if I were you. Want to know what it looked like? Grab a bottle of Coke, that's what it looked like. No, not even with wings added on or anything. 8 P

The "classic 4" are FEISAR, AG-Systems, Auricom, and Qirex. So those would be a great set to make. Pirhana is also the "standard" 5th ship. Goteki, Assegai, and Icaras are the 6th, 7th, and 8th respectively.

So so far you're making them in the order they were originally made! 8 )

alien99
28th August 2006, 05:59 PM
So ..what we have here:

FEISAR
AURICOM
QIREX - 1 vote
AG SYSTEMS -1vote( for second livery)
PIRANHA
ASSEGAI
TRIAKIS - 1 vote
HARIMAU
KLOR
TURBOWEEVEL
CARDRACER
HAIRONAUT
TIGRON
VANUBER
PUMA 1
PUMA 2
GOTEKI45 - 1 vote
ICARAS - 1 vote
ZONE CRAFT
MediEvil craft
.....well..the ICARAS craft is pretty sexy and I´m using it in the game(it´s my favourite)
http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/wipeout/icaras.jpg

the second livery of the AG-SYS is cool too.
http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/wipeout/agsystems2.jpg

triakis craft has pretty compact design...

well with its shield of just 2 points we always said Icaras was just a "paper ship". This seems to be turning out true. :paperbag And at least with Zone you will know you are using the same materials as the ship itself. ;)

Icaras is a great choice, Jan, good luck with it. Definitely a great design, and very reminiscent of the original Wipeout 3 model. Not sure if my ship, Goteki, with its donut design would be a very difficult job. :)

i would like to have one please.

one question though

alien, when you cut paper and glue it all together, how is it that i can't see any white paper surfaces? I mean there's not a single place where i'd notice white paper there, even on the edges of paper. do you enhance your models by painting over the 'ugly';) parts? it looks like made of plastic!

Mad-Ice
7th September 2006, 04:30 PM
We only have to wait till Jan makes the track too. Then i will put some engines in it and some RC-stuff and off we go!!

alien99
7th September 2006, 04:40 PM
to Shem:

after the cutting the part from the paper sheet I´m coloring the white edges with water-based colors...after that I´m glueing the parts together...that´s why the model looks more real :D ..It´s an old masking technique of papermodellers:)

to Sausehuhn:

the track part is selected. it is a first turn (specially the left side with white stripes) of the EXOSTRA RUN track:rock
...so if you want to know how it will be look like ...just play this track:guitar

to all:

what king of an A-craft will be next?....:hyper
How about some double-fuselage one?....TRIAKIS,ASSEGAI or PUMA 2 ?

......one more thing....does anyone know the MOTTO of the ICARAS.?....Feisar has: "The Future Is Euro"....
I need it for the back of the track part - display stand...how about: "FLY" .....in the wipeout3 was "FLY Icarus"
..what you think about that?....

eLhabib
7th September 2006, 05:30 PM
fly icarAs, yes.

my vote for the next one is on Assegai, but I guess I will be outruled by the Triakis Conglomerate ;)

Possibly to show that they are susceptable to gravitational forces, thus proving that the Icaras is far superior. I'm absolutely amazed by these paper models. I would pay to even get a book with the cut outs to make them.

I won't be very original by telling you this alien but it's absolutely amazing what you can make with your hands!!!

oh my god....
im absolutely...flabbergasted. i think that explains it.
these arent papermodels! they are craft - they look like they could emit blue jet rays out of their behinds and fly around a room at some ungodly speed in true wipeout fashion!!
Top work - id download and create them but im too scared - i would hate to do a bad job, because that would just ruin it :P
Keep up the utterly brilliant work.

Spaceboy Gajo

What's there to ruin? It's paper :) Would love to get my hands dirty on a project like this it, but for a country that uses the metric system there are stuff that still is measured under the Imperial system.

America and the UK get with the times! :D

Any body know the Imperial system (lbs - pounds) equivalent for the paper that is used in making something like this? I was thinking like using card stock but I'd definitely would love to hear from those people who've made these and can help me out. I've done the Google thing and it only makes my head hurt doing the math.

Task
31st January 2007, 02:41 AM
I was planning on throwing them all on a USB key and taking it over to the local print shop and asking them to print them for me on the heaviest stock they had. Let the professionals deal with it!

I was hoping I could figure it out from there. 8 )

If I manage to get off my arse and do such a thing in a reasonable timeframe, I'll let you know how it goes.

And if I don't, and you get it done, drop me a line on how well it went for you!

RX
2nd February 2007, 05:30 PM
Holy *bleep* ! I didn't think that paper size could make a problem !

I use A4 paper (297x210 mm).
Letter paper is close (279x216mm = 11x8 1/2 inch), but you won't have all the drawings.
Legal should be better (356x216mm = 14x8 1/2 inch). http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Format_de_papier

Or you could adjust the picture to the paper size if you acrobat reader (models have no scale !).

These models are stunning. I am absolutely blown away by them. I really am. I'm going to have to try making some. The work that must go into deconstructing these baffles me. It must be a science in itself.

Over the weekend I received my birthday gift from one of my best friends and his girlfriend. You guys may know him as auslander (aka Steve) on here. Steve told me me at my birthday party that he was assembling my gift and that I'd receieve it later. I had an inkling that it would be this papercraft model. Perhaps it's because of my ramped up interest in all things Wipeout. Who could say.

Steve's girlfriend assembled two of these. One on regular paper (the prototype) the other on premium photo paper. Steve altered the PDF to scale it bigger and change the cockpit for the magnets. Magnets!

This puppy is using good old fashioned science to make it float. You may have seen those toys before that uses the magnets to do funky stuff. I remember these flooding my childhood in the 80s. This one that Steve got is from a globe that hovers in mid-air. A good looking globe too if you ask me. I may switch it from time to time.

Any ways, through trial and error Steve got the right combo to make this hang like the globe did. Took pictures for his blog (http://www.spark72.com/aus/) and to show you guys. Just pay no mind to my room :D

Ladies and gentleman, I present you the FEISAR anti-gravity craft (http://www.unit-of-g.com/Wipeout/FEISAR01.jpg).
The underside of the fabulous FEISAR (http://www.unit-of-g.com/Wipeout/FEISAR02.jpg).
Getting a closer look (http://www.unit-of-g.com/Wipeout/FEISAR03.jpg).
The AG technology that powers the FEISAR craft (http://www.unit-of-g.com/Wipeout/FEISAR04.jpg).
The FEISAR AG craft in action, this time from the rear (http://www.unit-of-g.com/Wipeout/FEISAR05.jpg).

Both Steve and his girlfriend did an amazing job for this. Steve's been brainstorming on making such a thing with magnets for the longest time. Also, constructing it out of balsa wood. Both me and him are not good with such a material, but papercraft allowed him to fulfil his idea. He's got the prototype at home. After giving me my gift Steve said he's working on a 2.0 model for himself.

After giving me this, I thought of finishing the section of track for the base to complete the diorama. Even thinking of fabricating an LED weapon or speed pad. If I do ever get around to it, I'll be posting it here ;)

May not be anti-grav but it is still defying gravity by hanging with magnets.

It's now set-up in my room and got the ceiling fan going. The drafts from the fan are moving the craft here and there. Almost like you'd rotate it in a video game if you're selecting your ship :)

spaceboy, i would like to see that on youtube!

alien, if you want an idea of what the underside of the ships look like, refer to the Pure concept art in the 'downloads' section of the website, there one or two pics showing the underside of the AG-SYS and Assegai ships, from there all you need to do is make-up the others by using the concept art as example/reference

first of all it's a pleasure to meet all you pilots here in wipeoutzone! i've been a huge fan of the series since it came out, it's a shame i suck so much at one of the games i love the most! :P

secondly, jan, i am an incredible fan of your work!!! when i stumbled on to your site i almost peed myself. i recently put together the livery version of the feisar craft. after 2 days of steep labor (my art skills are what some might say 'sub-par'... REALLY sub-par) the hours of cutting, scoring, and getting super glue all over myself paid off. the model is the coolest thing i've got in my room (aside from the katamari prince papercraft i put together ages ago.)

PLEASE stay interested in the series! pulse is coming out soon and i'm 190% sure i'll wanna make a fleet of paper models from that game! :D

also as soon as you're done with the teams you're working on (can't wait for both) i'd like to request harimau!

finally if anyone has links to papercraft from other wipeout games i would be eternally grateful! i'm seriously gonna put together as many as i can and XL or fusion models would be intense!

Cheers guys! :pizza

first of all proper credits go to the guys who are REALLY good at this kind of stuff:

1. the person who refers to himself as rx(?) and who put up this incredible site: http://pagesperso-orange.fr/rxland/wo3-grille.htm

2. mr Jan Rükr and his awesome site: http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/aliens_papirove_modely_gb.htm

so i'm in a band and i'm also a HUGE fan of the wipeout series. (the soundtrack on woxl threw me deeper into the whole 'what happens when you mix rock and triphop' thing)

i thought to myself wouldn't it be sweet to put the two interests together? i went ape when i discovered the forum thread about the wipeout pure paper models. it had always been a dream of mine to own a wipeout toy/model, and as soon as i found the link i put together a livery version of jan's wipeout pure feisar! it's probably the coolest thing in my room right now.

here's what i did. i got a wip3out feisar paper model from the first site i mentioned above (thank you so much mr rx man) and skinned it in photoshop with my band's logos, favorite colors and whatnot. it's my first attempt so the detail may be kinda off, but i had a super fun time making it!

Hi to all Wipeout fans...specially the new-ones. It´s more than one year of my last post :eek

Lots of things happend.:|

There are other projects besides Wipeout Pure models

I´ve completed the Endo-rifle from TERMINATOR movie and working on the Terran Marine Cannon from upcoming STARCRAFT 2.
..there is so little time...

BTW: i don´t forgot for this easy-build and efective little papercrafts from wipeout pure game. 20 crafts are waiting to be born.AG-SYSTEM,PUMA 2.....

And -YEAH the WIPEOUT PULSE IS OUT of the world......that means more little papercrafts from FX400 League...

I saw the custom skin editor and my Question is (specially for game developers or designers) IS THERE ANY CHANCE TO OBTAIN A 3D MODEL OF THE INGAME CRAFTS?....for the skin editor in flash-the ship must be loaded.
Is there a way to extract from flas that 3d model?...It will be much easyer to have a RIGHT 3d model for my texturing.....

Thanx to: RUSH 25 for his skin creation.....looking very good.
SUPERSOCK for his monarch (icaras) skin creation.
Special thanx to RX for his own wipeout models.

more of you guys.......Jan

The diorama concept is still in my mind as a red line....trough all the time I was away....the Starcraft cannon is out and now I have more time to go into the wipeout world again..and I am happy....:hyper
The Wipeout HD is probably the main impulse. When I first play that High res piece of work with all that incredible crafts ..I was catched again:rock..

continuing with my work on the little crafts from WIPEOUT PURE;)
Pure is harder league in the case of 3d models.I make them myself.
