Track Splits in Pure

Which way do you go on the track splits in Pure, and why?

Sinucit Split 1: Left

Sinucit Split 2: Left, but a lot of people choose right on kai.

Ubermall: Right, but again a lot seem to go the other way.

Paris Hair: Right.

Anulpha Pass: A no-brainer.

Khara Descent: Right.

And did I forget one? :)

Sinucit1: Left, habit, and kinda feels right to continue the left turn from the preceding corner
Sinucit2: Left, went that way the first time and it just stuck. autopilot prefers right though? and I have noticed as you say that on kai many go right
Ubermall: Right, habit once again, I think it's because at this point I just know the lines better
Paris Hair: Right, and I don't know why
Anulpha Pass: Right, unless I can see a bomb on it.
Khara Descent: Left, I prefer this sequence of boosts/weapons
Coridon 12: Right, I just know this "wing" better

Sinucit Split 2: Right, I like the speed pad on the exit

Ubermall: Right

Paris Hair: Right

Anulpha Pass: Obvious

Khara Descent: Left

Most are force of habit more than strategic importance

Except for Paris Hair, all my split choices are due to better speedpad location (IMO).

Mine are the same a Lunar's, but I go left on Corridon 12.

Héhé Modesto heights : right ( you gonna say there's no split section there ) yeah you 're right , but i mean right above the last billboard on the last right turn :banzai ( caution : use it only in phantom )

Sinucit1 - left, continue the turn
sinucit2 - right, there's a speedpad there to quickly regain speed lost from turning
Ubermall - Left, arbitrary habit
Anulpha - upper, it's faster
Khara - varies, depends on how soon I want a weapon, or where other traffic is going, etc.

I think all us lefties on Sinucit might have to check out the right side. Could be one reason why everyone kicks my butt on Sinucit on Kai. There`s no weapon pad on the right split though.

I don't know why, but whenever there's a split on any track (including those in the Zone mode) I go right. It feels more comfortable to me, but that's most likely because it's what I'm used to. Going left for whatever reason - usually because of that pesky autopilot - ends up with me bouncing off the walls until the split rejoins :)

I find it hard to unlearn and relearn a track split choice once it`s made.

i know it's not the perfect place to talked about Kai here but anyway it's always the right area to do it :redface: so : Let me introduce a very highly competitive Wiper we met on kai with his 2 others work-mates : Rob aka Wooyay
Like yesterday with Anthony we fight him on a rapier ascension tour : damn that was an amazing tour we did.

Maybe you could make a presentation 's post of yourself into the Pilots loundge forum :)
