What determines the trajectory of the pod that throws up a force wall.?

Dunno, but it's always on the oppositte side of the track to you, if memory serves me well...

It always stays ont he same side of the track you fired it from, but you dont need to worry about steerign around it, the sender can fly straight through it!

Or have i missed the point entirely?

I want to understand how to aim it .

Judging by the contradiction between both my and mobius' posts, I don't think you can, man

You can't aim it, it will go a certain distance down the track then materialise. The random path it seems to take is just a fancy effect.

It was one of the weapons i wanted to see return in pure, but due to the nature of the physics in the game, im glad it hasn't.

Didn't the Grav-Bomb and Grav-Stinger in Fusion try to recreate it, but was just annoying.
And did the AI ever use Force-walls?

No, it does not. The computer doesn't have access to force walls, plasma, shield drain or quakes.

Thats a good thing I suppose, but I did once in SinglePlayer get hit by a quake, right at the end of the race.

Are you sure it wasn't the burrito you had for lunch?

No. I am definatly sure.
What the hell is a burrito anyway?

No you didn't get hit by a Quake at the end of the race. Drakkenmensch is correct the AI have no access to those weapons. What you saw seems to be a 'slowing down' by the autopilot that takes over at the end of the race. I don't know why it spins your ship sometimes but it does.

A burrito is some kind of spicy Mexican food, I don't know more than that.

Must have just been a glitch in my PS2...
