In my experience, even most free hotspots (such as in airports, railway stations, libraries, etc) will protect themselves from nearby leechers by protecting their free WIFI with a username and a password that they change every day so that they know at all times how many people are plugged in. Just ask the people in charge how to connect and they can give you the correct info, including any specific IP specs you may need to set up in your PSP.

Starbucks is good but you do need a T-Mobile hotspot pass.... in Starbucks they charge you £4.50 an hour 8O

You can find em' on eBay for around a pound though :D

On the offchance anyone reading this is ever in Glasgow...

Free wi-fi at Cafe Lava, St. Andrew's Street.
Free wi-fi at Red Lizard, Albion Street.
Very cheap wi-fi at all branches of Beanscene.
Very cheap wi-fi at Tinderbox, Byers Road.

There's more, but those are the ones I know off the top of my head.
