Two questions:

1) What's the location of the place these photos were taken from?

2) How long does it take to rip that kind of poster off the wall?

PS. - I love the last poster. That old granny seems to look like she was attracted by the unexplainable force of Wipeout, standing so close to it....or maybe she was just checking if the train was comming....(who knows? grannies + Wipeout = fun either way)

Hey, they are the ones I was talking about in that Pure thread. That's even the same place - Tara Street station in Dublin. Nice posters.

Spiral motion

Assegai Development's wip3out poster

Tapioca "weep-trrwa-oot" french poster :)

My own ("wip3out bits and bobs" and "wip3out poster...but is it official?")

btw infoxicated nice pics! It's like Wip3out just took over the station decor and signs.. lol

Does anyone think we'll see pure posters in the run up to psp euro release... or will they just promote PSP poster with a wipeout screen shot.. I would love to see Kings Cross station hi jacked by Wipeout. I can just imagine it now *attempts at impersonating wip3out computer voice*
"Baggage Eliminated ->"
"Passenger Frustrated ->"

Wow, love those posters, that's one hella cool train station (Ulster I take it?), letting psyggy literally sponsor the entire place, very cool :D "Wip3out the guy in front", yeah! 8)

I love the last poster. That old granny seems to look like she was attracted by the unexplainable force of Wipeout, standing so close to it....or maybe she was just checking if the train was comming....(who knows? grannies + Wipeout = fun either way)

Excellent. Impossible not to notice those ones, even for an old granny. By the way I wonder what came to her mind after seeing this (I hate yellow… I'm not buying this game… not a chance, never… no. Vade retro ! Damn, I won’t buy it until i beat Spilskinanke on phantom. And I'm crushing this bloody Sartwell's laptimes, first !!! ).

Do you think it is possible to get back to normal life after seeing this in a train station ? Many people don’t seem interested but you can be sure that the train driver bought it within a week (From now Ladies and Gentlemen, please call me… “train PILOT”. Thanks for your understanding and fasten your seatbelts ).
Lovely propaganda !

on another thought altogether: um... granny? what granny? ...... oh, in poster 10, standing next to the post. i see. didn't catch that the first time. i was too busy looking at the blond. ;)

11th April 2005, 05:29 PM
wonder if the station kept the posters... another wip3out piece of art discarded..sigh.. there should be a museum or something.. the game's been running for 10years
I got reserve on the very long poster in poster1... stick it on the side of my flat :)

I went to work from this station every day while it was up. It was excellent. Certainly made me want to buy the game.

Poster 5 is an awesome pic, i love the atmosphere, its so industrial, and with the reflection and everything, its awesome... its so wip3out!!

20th June 2005, 04:35 PM
i bet that the only reason that train station is advertising wip3out posters is because they want to make it seem as there trains are as fast as wipeout ships

11th August 2013, 02:11 PM
Lol I bet!

21st August 2013, 04:09 AM

Now a decade Cipher ;)

10th February 2015, 02:36 AM
Lol, did you write this down on your calendar or something? :p

10th February 2015, 08:29 AM
WELP, see you in 2020! I've found my life's purpose.

13th February 2015, 09:21 AM
Alright, see you then!

Note to future self:
1. If you're still single, find a woman already!
2. If you found a woman (and she's the right one), propose already!
3. If you're already married, awesome job mate!

On topic: I have these posters saved as part of my ever-changing desktop background :)

13th February 2015, 02:07 PM
I've been single ever sense a girl in high school tried to "protect" someone from a guy she dated and then stopped dating within the span of sense last week. Not saying all women are dumb, the previously mentioned women is probably the only reason others consider women to be 80 cents to the dollar. If I find someone (which could be a man, because I'm bi, and the fact that you didn't already somehow know that makes you racist or something), I'll force them to partake a brutal crucible to test their courage and intellect. That is true love.

23rd March 2015, 06:43 AM
Anyways.. I still love the hell out of these poster photos Fox!

24th March 2015, 05:49 PM
That "Anyway" just cutted it XD

27th March 2015, 04:18 AM
Yeah that was a bit blunt, just trying to keep things on topic.. No offense

Hello and congratulations for this great community!! Wipe3out was my first videogame and now, many years later, driven by nostalgia for my childhood, I'm looking for some posters! Where can I buy posters like those? Or where can I find pictures to print?
